We kicked off the 17 May celebrations early today at Colony, The Ritz-Carlton! It was fantastic to see our community come together for a festive lunch filled with great conversations and excellent food. 🥂

This early celebration is the perfect way to kick off the festivities in style ahead of the official celebrations on 17 May.

Bringing the maritime community together around the people at the heart of our industry.

Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming maritime leaders to a special evening co-hosted with the Norwegian Embassy in Singapore and CFARER during Singapore Maritime Week.

Set in the Asian Civilisations Museum, the evening was built around seafarers’ own photographs from CFARER’s Seafarer Stories 2025/26, bringing real moments from life at sea into the room and shaping the conversations that followed.

We were honoured by opening remarks from Mr. Even Tronstad Sagebakken, Deputy Minister of Norway for Ocean and Fisheries, and a welcome address by H.E. Leif Trana - Ambassador of Norway to Singapore.

The exhibition was introduced by Capt. Mohit Batra, CFARER, and officially opened by Mr. Toh Soon Kok and Mr. Chris Jones from the The Mission to Seafarers, who highlighted the importance of continued support for seafarers worldwide.

A special thank you to Jon Loken and the CFARER team for making this possible.
