These days, we often hear organisations ask: “Where can we introduce AI?”
It is an understandable question, and a common one at that.
But before looking for the tool or use case, we believe there is another question worth asking:
“What do we understand well enough to support with AI?” And there are a few reasons why we think so.
Do we understand where people hesitate...
Where they recheck information?
Where teams depend on informal handovers?
Where a decision needs explanation?
Where judgement, empathy or accountability must remain human?
These questions change the starting point.
They move the conversation away from what AI can technically do and towards the conditions required for AI to be useful, trusted and responsible.
That is why we created the USER AI Readiness Checklist.
It helps leaders examine the human behaviours, data conditions, workflow realities, governance requirements and decision boundaries surrounding AI adoption.
The guide will not tell every organisation to move faster.
It may reveal where to pause, investigate or strengthen the foundations first.
Because AI readiness is not measured by how quickly we introduce AI.
It is reflected in how thoughtfully we prepare the organisation around it.
What might your organisation be overlooking?
