Most homeowners know roughly what they pay each month. Fewer know when their home is actually using the most electricity.

Is it the morning rush? A quiet afternoon with the air-conditioning, fridge or pool pump running? Or the evening when everyone is back home?

That timing matters because solar generates during daylight. A home that uses more electricity during the day may need a different setup from one that becomes busiest after sunset.

Before talking about panel count, we like to start with something much simpler: your latest electricity bill and what a normal day at home looks like.

Every household is different, and that’s exactly why the system should follow the home not the other way around.

Hotter days can show up in more places than the weather app. Sometimes, they show up in the electricity bill too.

MSS expects El Niño conditions to strengthen through the second half of 2026, with some periods feeling warmer and drier. If your household relies more on cooling during those stretches, a few small habits can help: keep the air-conditioner serviced, use shade where you can, and watch how your electricity use changes.

And if most of your power is being used during the day, your bill and roof can tell us a lot about whether solar may suit your home.

Send us a recent electricity bill on WhatsApp and we’ll help you take a practical look.

Singapore stays warm, and air-conditioning can take up a big share of household electricity use.

Setting the air-conditioner to 25°C or higher, using a fan and keeping doors closed can help reduce unnecessary cooling without making the home uncomfortable.

Small habits can make a difference over time.

Noticed a higher electricity bill? You are not imagining it.

Singapore’s regulated tariff increased for July–September as natural gas costs rose. A good first step is to understand your electricity plan and where your home uses the most power.

For landed homes, your daytime usage and roof conditions can also help show whether solar is worth exploring.

Higher electricity costs? ⚡ Start with your site data.

Your bills and usage patterns can show where your business may save through better efficiency, shifting energy use, rooftop solar or battery storage.

Swipe through the four options, then send us your latest electricity bill on WhatsApp for an initial energy review.

Electricity prices went up this quarter, but there are still a few things landed homeowners can review at home.

Start with three basics: when you use the most electricity, how much energy you use during the day and whether your roof may be suitable for solar.

If you’d like a first look, send PMCE Global your latest electricity bill and a clear roof photo on WhatsApp.

We’ll help you understand the options without making one-size-fits-all promises.

Singapore’s data centres are expected to use close to 20% of the country’s electricity in 2026. As demand grows, businesses may also feel the impact of changing energy costs.

The good news is that businesses have practical options.

Solar can turn unused roof space into a source of daytime electricity, while battery storage can save energy for use later. The right setup will depend on your roof, electricity use and daily operations.

Swipe through to learn what Singapore’s growing electricity demand could mean for businesses and what you can do next.

Singapore's energy story just accelerated ☀ The 2030 solar target of 2 GWp arrived five years early, and the bar has now been raised 50% to 3 GWp. "Solar remains our most viable option in the near-term," said Dr Tan See Leng at the Committee of Supply Debate.

Over 80% of that capacity sits on rooftops, and the symmetry is hard to ignore: a national milestone five years ahead of schedule, and payback for landed homes now as short as around five years. With the regulated tariff at a record high this quarter, energy you own counts for more than ever.

Your roof can be part of the next gigawatt.

From today, energy costs more in Singapore than ever before.

The regulated electricity tariff has hit a record 34.78 cents/kWh with GST, up 17% in a single quarter, the steepest rise on record. About 95% of our power is generated from imported gas, so that price is set by events far beyond our shores.

And Energy Market Authority (EMA) says it could climb further.

The exposure is imported. The answer can be local.

Rooftop solar puts control back on your own roof. Power you generate yourself, with payback now as short as ~5 years.

Did you know your highest electricity cost may come from just one 30-minute spike in power demand?

For many commercial properties, reducing peak demand can be just as important as reducing overall energy consumption. With the right solar energy system, businesses can lower grid dependence during peak operating hours, improve cost stability, and achieve long-term savings.
