Singapore’s sixth waste-to-energy (WTE) plant can incinerate 3,600 tonnes of waste and generate 120 megawatts of electricity daily. The electricity produced is sufficient to power about 240,000 HDB flats since July 2022👍

Dyson's founder has purchased a palatial bungalow located at 50 Cluny Road, which boasts a waterfall nestled amidst lush foliage, its own curved infinity pool extending from the interiors to the outside, and a spiral stairway overlooking the pool that ascends through sunlit, open concept rooms. At its core, the grandeur of the building is conveyed through elegant structural design, such that a series of thin cantilevers effectively conceal the ‘visual weight’ of a structure commanding a cool S$45 million dollars and make it blend—much like the layers of a tree—into the surrounding Bukit Timah greenery. Tenwit is honoured to be involved as the structural consultant for this project.

About principal consultant
Dr George Zhou, founder of the firm, has more than 30 years of experience in civil/structural design and the construction industry. His expertise in finding elegant solutions pertaining to design and construction issues is testament to his status as a consultant par excellence.
