Back to school means we’re back to cooking & serving over 300 kids daily 🧑‍🍳✨

As I’ve entered my 2nd trimester, the daily rush in the canteen is starting to feel more challenging — the nausea still comes and goes, and with one assistant short, we’re doing our best with limited hands 🥺

I didn’t manage to prepare as many dishes, especially for the teachers, but we’re still pushing through, insyaAllah.

Thank you so much for your concern & for even asking if you could help. That gesture alone truly means a lot to us.♥️

Yesterday the shop was dark as we were facing an electrical issue which was only resolved around 7+ pm during azan. We were still operating & trying our best to manage every situation.

The truth is, the past few months have been extremely difficult for us.
After we had to downsize one of our units last August, which many customers thought we had closed down completely!
Because of that, our sales have dropped more than 50% compared to previous Ramadhans. 😭

At the same time, my husband is still recovering from his TIA stroke, and my mum has been hospitalized for more than a month now due to stage 4 aggressive cancer. Watching her condition deteriorate day by day while trying to keep the business running has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through.

There are many days where it feels like we are just holding on to every straw we can find to keep the shop alive. But we strongly believe this business is worth fighting for, because it was built specifically to support our local bakers — especially our Muslim community — by providing quality baking ingredients that are cost-saving and 100% halal.

InsyaAllah, we will continue trying our best and not give up.

Your concern yesterday truly touched my heart.
Thank you! for coming down to our humble shop and supporting us, and for reminding me that kindness still exists around us, especially in this blessed month of Ramadhan. ♥️🤲
