Had a good zoom meeting in my house yesterday. The topic was "Beyond the Diagnosis". Pastor Philip Marc shared his journey of being an Overcomer of his cancer.
In 2019, he was diagnosed with nose and throat cancer. From stage two cancer, very quickly, it became stage 4 cancer. Doctor advised him to go for chemotherapy, To go for chemotherapy treatment, he will lose his voice ... Being a pastor, he could not accept that. So, he continue to trust God for divine healing and also seek alternative treatments.
A powerful testimony of God's faithfulness and love. Pastor Philip Marc is still actively serving the Lord. Immediately after the zoom meeting, he is off to another meeting.

60 Day Challenge

I am David. I am a 71 years old. I am a diabetic for more than 30years.
My last sugar level on 17/04/26 was HBA1c (Blood) was 7.0%
My Visceral Fat Level was 12

Up until now, I have just accepted my diabetic condition ... but now I am going to fight it. I am giving myself this 60 days challenge.

My goals by the end of 60 days
1. Bring down my sugar level to below 6
2. Bring down my visceral fat to 8

Report 5/8/26 (Day 1)
6am to 8am
Morning walk from Punggol Central to Waterway Point and back. Did some exercise in the public gym ( HDB Exercise Station ). This is good for seniors ... don't have to pay and user friendly.

Breadfast
1 slice of bread with avocado and egg spread
1 cup of 2 in 1 Coffee (No sugar)

Lunch
1 plate of economic rice - rice, veggie, tofu and ikan billis with nuts
(shared with wife)
1 cup of tea

Dinner
1 bowl of peanuts/cuttle fish/egg porridge (shared with wife)
