s strategy, the Company was renamed as “MayBev Pte Ltd” in late 2008. MayBev Pte Ltd, being a subsidiary of Maya Corporation Pte Ltd at the time, tapped on the existing sole distributorship for “Asahi” beer of more than 30 years, which was previously a division under its parent company and took the step to operate this business as an independent entity officially on 1st January 2009. In July 2009, the name “MayBev” became an official registered trade mark. Today, MayBev Pte Ltd (“MayBev”) is the sole distributor for “Asahi” brand Japanese beer in Singapore. The Company’s core business includes marketing and distribution of liquor and beverages, with its major brands being “Asahi” Beer, “Nikka” Whisky, “Asahi” Liquors, Hooper’s “Hooch” Alcoholic Pop, “Yukihime” Plum Wine, “Dassai” Sake, “Asina” Chin a Apple Soda, “Asina” Beverages and “Heavy Water” Ultra Premium Vodka. We, at MayBev are constantly and aggressively sourcing for more premium alcoholic products and other beverages at competitive prices for local distribution.
