The online market in the region has been booming enormously. There are 70 million new digital consumers who started shopping online buying at least a product in the past 1 year. Online sales in Singapore are projected to hit USD10 billion by the end of 2026 compared to USD8 billion by end of this year. This was said by Facebook and management consultancy Bain & Company released in August this year.

In a study that was done across six markets in Southeast Asia this year, there is an increase in respondents who shop mostly online from 33% in 2020 to 45% in 2021.
