Happy New Year, everyone! 😊

With the 1st work week of 2026 starting soon, this weekend feels like a last real chance to slow down before the year gets busy.

Instead of the usual New Year greetings, we wanted to share something more meaningful. One thing 2025 really taught us is: good years don’t happen by accident – they’re built on small moments of honest reflection and intention.

That’s why we designed this simple *one-page* reflection sheet, adapted from an insightful podcast. The questions helped us take stock and get clearer on what a “good” year actually looks like.

If you have a quiet moment, we hope this gives you a small boost before 2026 takes off.

Wishing you a genuinely great 2026 – in whatever matters most to you!

Cheers! 🥳🍻

Day #1 of a turnkey local relo project. Client not home? That's what we're here for.

We're gonna work while they're on holiday. All furniture will be in place and everything in the closets will be organized by the time they're back. Home sweet home.

Organizing will make a space feel and look better, but it's not all about achieving instagrammable spaces.

Sometimes, the client only has the bandwidth to get the space to a point where they can continue the journey by themselves. Some clients find it difficult to make a decision on a few category of items within a couple of hours, because it's either been with them a long time, or needs more time to look through (like books, papers, documents).

So we prioritize....

1. For the high touch, high frequency items, the priority is to declutter and organize them so that the client can live in an orderly space from henceforth. (Photos 1 and 2)

2. For the low touch, low frequency items, the priority is to collate them in a logical manner, with sufficient working space around it, so that the client can work on them when they have the time to. (Photo 3)

When bandwidth is limited, it is important to get things DONE, and not worry about perfection. The goal is to get to a point where the client has the space to properly live, and where the organization truly makes a positive difference in the client's life. Then, they are energized and empowered to continue working on the rest at their own pace.

So if you've been looking at highly curated (aka edited) Instagram images of perfectly organized spaces (with nary a hair out of place) and are on the verge of giving up trying on your own, give us a call.

We have a plan to move you FORWARD, at WHATEVER level of disarray, timeframe, budget, energy level, you possess. It's all about momentum, not perfection.

These shoes are made for walking.
One of these days these shoes are gonna walk all over Singapore. 🤣

This section is only the tip of the iceberg, but it's the most important tip, in terms of usage (not price). For this lovely raven-haired maiden, the shoes are really meant for walking, not for collecting. The total collection is well over 120 pairs, but hey, who's counting? 😄

Some might notice that the shoes grouped isn't quite grouped by type or colour. Yes, you're right! This is deliberate. They're grouped by frequency of usage. This is the 2nd most-frequenrly-used set, while the most frequently used ones are in a cupboard next to the house entrance, and the least frequently used set is in the least accessible cupboard.

There is no ONE way of organizing items. Every home has different inherent challenges, so it's always a combined consideration of the existing constraints of the space and the usage patterns. That's why we are the professionals - we figure out what's the best way of working with what you already have, in a way that works for your particular lifestyle needs, without tearing out the cabinets and rebuilding new ones.

We're downright doctors, ain't it?!

Y'know, we rarely proselytize about having less, because we never believe that less is more.

Nor do we believe that having more is more, because more is never enough. Who in the world, when gifted a large house (or collection of clothes, or cars, or gadgets, or sums of money) would ever feel it's enough? No. One. Ever.

So when we work with our clients, we always encourage contentment. Yes, we want to pursue a larger house, a nicer bag collection, a nicer set of sneakers than our Bata's, but in the pursuit of what you want, learn to be happy and content with what you already have. Because that contentment will allow you to enjoy and derive happiness from what you already have.

It's deep, I know. And we rarely share about such wishy-washy touchy-feely stuff. So if you hear this from us, it is important enough. 😄

By the way, this came from a podcast, but out of respect for religious sensitivities, we won't be sharing the link here. DM us if you want the link!

This coming weekend, perhaps it's time to discover what you already have. Your collection(s) might surprise you! 😊

This is one of the very few honest articles that I've read about home design trends. And having seen so many homes across all market segments (HDB, condo, penthouses, landed) while helping homeowners to address their organisational issues 5 to 10 years after they've moved in, I dare say that most design trends don't pass the longevity test.

If you're spending a year's salary on the reno (or even way more), you want the reno to last at least a decade, instead of having to replace it 3/4 years down the road.

By longevity, I mean it's:
(a) Easy to clean - kitchens are hard working spaces after all!

(b) Flexible enough to accommodate lifestyle changes - DINKY couples will have babies, who will grow into young children, then teens, then young adults. That pigeon-hole wine cabinet may get frequent use when you move in, but will gather dust when the baby bottles come along

(c) Will continue to function as originally intended even after heavy usage. Beware the fancy fittings/hinges.

(d) Looks good if even the colour or finishing fades. Has anyone ever wondered what gold/black taps will look like 5 to 10 years down the road?

Spend your hard-earned money wisely. And if you're not sure what will last, ask us! All questions welcomed at the WhatsApp link below
