ETCIO Southeast Asia launched nominations for the second edition of ETCIO SEA Transformative CIOs' list last November, as a testament to the overwhelming response we received in our inaugural list last year. The initiative involved a rigorous two month long nomination process, where our readers from industry-wide organization in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam painstakingly took their time to evaluate their favored CIOs and recognize them for their transforming influential work in 2023.

The nominations were further evaluated by an independent panel of our inhouse and industry experts to zero down on the final nominees who deserved the recognition for their work to make it to the final cut.

Ken Soh, Chair of SGTech SG's Cyber Security Chapter, CEO of Athena Dynamics and CIO of BH Global Corporation, moderated SGTech's Tech Tuesday Sharing Session about Understanding Cyber Threats & Importance of Cyber Security in Digital Transformation on the 9th January 2024.
SGTech's Digital Transformation team kicked off the 2024's Tech Tuesday theme with what is usually known as the "unwanted child" in Digital Transformation.

The session aimed to shed light on the growing significance of cyber security in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. With a diverse panel of experts, the discussion delved into the various cyber threats faced by organizations and emphasized the critical role of cybersecurity in enabling successful digital transformation initiatives.

The session features Eugene Lam, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Netrust Pte Ltd and Exco Member of SgTech's cyber Security Chapter, Jin Chong, Managing Director at 7-Networks Pte Ltd and Sanjai Sivasankar, Cyber Advisory at softScheck Pte Ltd.

SGTech's Digital Transformation programme aims to provide our Singapore SMEs with the right tools and roadmaps for them to digitalise holistically.
