What better way to build bonds than through the magic of ice cream? Yesterday, we hosted our Team Building Ice Cream Making Event as part of our Bring Your Family to Work Day, and it was nothing short of a delicious adventure!

From thrilling ice cream-making competitions to laughter-filled games, our teams came together to stir up creativity, collaboration, and—of course—the tastiest treats. Seeing colleagues and their families work side by side reminded us that teamwork isn’t just for the office; it’s the foundation of everything we do.

Yesterday, we marked a remarkable milestone—our 15th Anniversary—with an evening full of gratitude, joy, and reflection. This celebration was more than just a dinner—it was a moment to honor the journey we’ve taken together and the people who make our success possible.

💖 Giving Back: We were deeply honored to share this special night with the children from Panti Asuhan ElShaddai Abigail, bringing smiles, warmth, and a sense of family to everyone present.

OHC Crew Night 2024: A Night of Celebration and Giving!
Our annual crew night in Batam was a huge success! A big thanks to HR Manager Neo and the team for all their hard work.

Here's a glimpse of the night:

⛴️ We travelled to Batam from Singapore by ferry and checked into our hotel.
❤️ We visited Yayasan Darul Muhyiddin orphanage and donated a washing machine and food supplies. Some children from the orphanage even joined us for a delicious seafood dinner!
‍‍‍ OHC staff and their families came together for the celebrations.
Our Managing Director announced a new company initiative: 24/7 mental health support for seafarers with a dedicated Mental Health Officer! Capt Stanley Siaw also gave a talk on mental health awareness.
We presented Long Service Awards to our dedicated seafarers - 6 for 5 years and 3 for 10 years! Congratulations!
The lucky draw was a hit with winners taking home prizes like smart TVs and air fryers!

We're excited to announce the successful continuation of our shipboard training program on two additional vessels! Through excellent collaboration between MS Mosie and Captain Stanley Siaw, our dedicated trainer, participants gained valuable knowledge on "PSC/FSC: Inspection Process, Documentation, and Effective Interaction."

This comprehensive training emphasizes the vital role of these procedures and equips our seafarers with the confidence and communication skills to navigate inspections professionally and respectfully. Captain Siaw's insightful guidance and encouraging words resonated strongly with the crew, leaving them well-prepared for future encounters.

This valuable program will be progressively rolled out across all OHC-managed vessels, ensuring our entire crew is well-equipped to handle inspections with ease and professionalism.

Setting sail for success: Shipboard training kicks off in 2024! ⛴️
Exciting news! OHC's shipboard training program has set sail in 2024, starting with a session on "PSC/FSC: Inspection Process, Documentation, and Effective Interaction" led by the amazing Capt. Stanley Siaw. ‍✈️

Captain Siaw brought his expertise onboard the NOC 7, equipping our seafarers with the knowledge and confidence to navigate inspections smoothly. He emphasized the importance of these procedures while also emphasizing respectful and confident interactions with inspectors.

This valuable training will be rolled out across all OHC-managed vessels, ensuring our crew is well-prepared to handle any inspection with professionalism and ease.

Gong Xi Fa Cai from OHC Shipmanagement!

We welcomed the Year of the Dragon with a roaring office Lunar New Year lunch, complete with the traditional "Lo Hei" prosperity toss!

But the celebrations didn't stop there! We sent "Ang Pows" to our amazing sea staff, wishing them great health and prosperity throughout the year.

Huat Ah! Here's to a prosperous and successful year for everyone!
