Only when your voice has strength can you control dynamics and emphasis, and it is these variations that bring out the emotional ups and downs of a song. Vocal strength requires proper breath support and core support from the diaphragm, while resonance helps make the voice sound fuller and more rounded.

Once we have built a stronger voice, we will work on improving the stability of your pitch and rhythm. Then, we can bring you onto the stage to build your confidence and courage. Singing in a classroom and singing on stage are two very different experiences!

We focus on strengthening vocal techniques, including vocal quality, power, vocal range, pitch accuracy, sense of rhythm, emotional expression, stage performance, and more.

Whether it’s a Mandarin, English, Cantonese, or Hokkien song, students can choose the songs they want to sing and learn, and use them to practise and apply the techniques they have learned.
