"My biggest takeaway? Good leadership is not about micromanaging every move. It's about giving great people the space to do what they do best, keeping the energy high, and stepping in only when they need a hand.”

— Christina Hoh, Senior Manager, F5 Networks

It was a privilege to facilitate one of our Themed Learning Experiences during F5 Networks’ Managers Meeting in Singapore. 🤝

Built around cross-functional collaboration and working together under pressure, the experience gave leaders the opportunity to see how their behaviours shaped the way the team worked, when to step in, when to create space for others, and how to keep moving forward together.

By experiencing these moments first-hand, people have something real to reflect on, and something meaningful to take back into how they lead and work together. 💡

Elite sport has spent decades studying how talented individuals come together and perform consistently as one team.

This is why we’re especially excited to welcome Professor Tim O’Brien on 2 September for an exclusive live session on what business leaders can learn from Premier League football.

Tim has worked at the heart of elite sport for decades, including with Arsenal under Arsène Wenger and, more recently, with Mikel Arteta as the club reshaped the culture behind its return to the top.

He’ll share practical lessons on trust, resilience, shared standards and turning individual talent into collective performance.

📅 2 September 2026
🕓 4:00–5:30 PM SGT
💻 Live via Zoom

Places are strictly limited, and the session will not be recorded.

We’re excited to share that Eagles Flight Asia Pacific will be joining Human Resources Online Learning & Development Asia 2026 – Singapore as Gold Sponsor this September 🙌🏻

The event will bring together more than 150 senior L&D and HR leaders to discuss how learning needs to change as technology, workplaces and people continue to evolve.

Eagles Flight will lead an experiential session focused on a challenge many L&D leaders know well: closing the gap between knowing and doing.

We’ll look at how learning can help people practise the communication, judgement, prioritisation and collaboration they need when the pressure is real, and how those behaviours can carry through into the workplace! 🧠🤝

We’re looking forward to connecting with leaders from across the region on 16–17 September at Hilton Singapore Orchard.

A meaningful way to head into Singapore’s National Day this weekend.

As Eagles Flight Asia marks 10 years of helping organisations across the region strengthen leadership, teamwork and performance, we’re proud to be recognised as a Company of Good – 2 Hearts by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). 🙌🏻

For us, strong performance and positive impact go hand in hand, through the work we do with clients and the contribution we make to our people, partners and wider community.

Singapore has been central to that journey and remains the base from which we support organisations across Asia. 💪🏻

We would like to thank everyone who has helped shape what we’ve built over the past decade.

If you have ever had to justify a training budget, you will know that attendance figures alone are not enough.

Too many learning and development programmes are still evaluated by who attended and how participants felt. Demonstrating real impact means looking at what changed afterwards, in performance, progression and contribution.

High-performing organisations measure employee retention, internal promotion rates, leadership bench strength and improvements in workplace performance are among the indicators that matter. 🎯

When development is connected to business priorities, it does more than build capability. It supports stronger, more sustainable performance over time. 💪

We explore how organisations can measure the ROI of professional development more effectively. Read the full article via the link in the comments. 👇

Today’s workforce no longer sees development as simply a benefit. It is increasingly an expectation. 📈

People want to see a clear path for growth, understand how their work contributes and feel that their organisation is invested in their future.

As AI continues to change roles and ways of working, this becomes even more important.

Those that place talent development at the centre of their growth and retention strategy will be better positioned to retain good people, strengthen performance and build the capability they need for the future. 🤝

In this article, we explore why investing in people is key to driving loyalty, performance and long-term organisational success.

AI investment creates potential. Human capability turns it into real business value. 💪🏻

📈 67% of businesses in Singapore are investing in AI above the global average.
Yet investment alone does not guarantee stronger performance.

The top 20% of AI-ready companies recorded labour productivity growth of 163%, nearly five times the average firm.
At the same time, roles combining AI proficiency with human capabilities have grown by 35% since 2019. 🤝

In our latest article, we break down why AI investment isn't always translating into results, and where the real value comes from. Read the full article via the link in the comments. 👇

When was the last time your team paused during ex*****on to check whether you were still working towards the original goal?

For many teams, that question does not come up often enough.

It is easy to confuse activity with progress. A team begins with a clear plan, defined roles, and a shared outcome. Then ex*****on takes over.

Decisions become automatic. KPIs are met, the pace stays busy, and momentum can gradually pull the team away from its original objective.

This does not necessarily mean the plan was wrong. It may simply mean no one paused long enough to check whether the team was still following it.

Momentum can feel like progress, but movement and direction are not the same thing. 🧭

The best teams make time to check that their actions still support the outcome they set out to achieve.

We take a closer look at this in our latest article on the behaviours that help teams perform at their best. You can find the link in the comments. 👇

When designing or selecting a corporate training programme for your team, it may be helpful to consider three elements:

💡 Does it help people see how their behaviour affects team performance?

🔎 Does it give people a safe, realistic setting to test decisions and adjust their approach?

🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 Does it help people apply what they have learned in their day-to-day work?

When all three come together, the learning is more likely to shape everyday behaviour and improve performance at work.

The next time you evaluate a learning programme, ask: will people simply enjoy the experience, or leave ready to work differently?
