We are delighted to share the successful completion of our recent training programme, “Unlocking Influence & Connection through Leading Others,” held on 24–25 April 2026 at Lazenda Hotel, Labuan.

This engaging two-day session brought together colleagues from both our Labuan and Malaysia offices, creating a valuable space for professional growth and cross-functional collaboration. The training focused on strengthening leadership effectiveness, enhancing interpersonal influence, and fostering meaningful workplace connections.

On 7 April 2026, we were honoured to host a high-level delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Finance, YB Tuan Liew Chin Tong and accompanied by Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), YB Datuk Lo Su Fui, as part of their two-day official working visit to Labuan.

The delegation was joined by key representatives from Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA), including Director General Mr. Affendi bin Rashdi, Deputy Director General, Mr. Jaffree Ismail and Head of Business Policy and Tax Development, Ms. Doreen binti Fadli.

The delegation was warmly received by our senior management team. During the visit, the delegation toured our office in Kensington Gardens to gain first-hand insights into our operations and the services we provide as a regulated Trust Company, further enhancing their understanding of our role and impact within the international financial services landscape.

We are deeply honoured by the visit and the opportunity to strengthen ties with such distinguished leaders. This meaningful engagement reflects our continued commitment in contributing to the advancement of the regional and international financial services ecosystem.

Nature thrives when we work together🌿

On 22 November 2025, our Labuan team had the privilege of joining a mangrove planting activity at Taman Ekologi Paya Bakau Kinabenuwa, together with almost 400 participants! This initiative was a collaboration between Amanah Lestari Alam (ALAM), Labuan IBFC and the Labuan Communities.

By taking part, we not only contributed to ecosystem restoration but also strengthened our bonds as a team around a shared purpose. The mangroves trees not only protect coastlines but also support marine life and help to combat climate change; making this experience both meaningful and rewarding.

We are proud to be part of an organization that truly walks the talk in ESG 🌱

We are proud to share that our Regional Managing Director, Raymond Wong was featured in Malay Mail on 7 August 2025, following his insightful session at the recent Bar Council - Twilight Talk on 1 August 2025.

Drawing from his personal journey of “positive ageing”, Raymond shared valuable insights and stressed the important of proactively preparing for life’s.

His key recommendations include:
>>Buy medical insurance early: Don’t rely solely on employer-provided group coverage, which often lapse after age 65 or 70.
>>Create a ‘Plan B’: Consider setting up a trust or legal structures to protect your financial wellbeing if you become mentally or physically incapacitated.
>>Plan in stages: Structure your financial and care strategy according to age brackets: 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond.
>>Adopt “zero-based assumption” mindset: Prepare as if you are entirely responsible for your future care, avoiding dependence on family.
>>Embrace "positive ageing": Prepare to grow older and live longer than you may expect.

These valuable insights underscore that early, thoughtful, and intentional planning are the cornerstone of financial security and independence in later stage of life.
