this was two years ago. we took about 3 hours setting this up, another 12 hours later, we were shooting the final shot. it was gruelling and it was draining, but what mattered at the end of the day - it was rewarding, very much so.
you cannot put a dollar value on how important those smiles and laughs were when this was being screened. you cannot put a dollar value on how fulfilling it was to see how unimpressed ("oh no another boring video") faces melted into smiles, or how those incessant chatter melted into silences of deep concentration when this was screened.
truth be told, when we announced in 2014 that NATJO (Nicole& Jonathan) was the last wedding we'd be doing, it was with a heavy heart that announcement was made.
in 2015 when we looked back and reminisced about the good times, it made us ponder about that decision. we are currently reconsidering it.
to the couples who've given us that opportunity to relate their once-in-a-lifetime fairy tale milestones in their lives, thank you.
we are almost peeing in our pants to announce that in 2016, we will be reopening FOOSTOP - with fuller hearts. we are coming back to the scene, and we will again be on this wondrous journey of telling your story to the world, in (yours, as well as) our words, because, really, we are different and we are a little mad in our heads.
for now, let us attempt to regain our domains and emails and all the boring administrative matters that come along with systems. fortunately for us, facebook and mobile numbers are still a constant. we promise once those are done, we will be back to our unique madcap way of telling your unique stories to the world, with an additional twist in our offerings ;)
for now, let us reminisce how crazy we can go on during some of our storytelling episodes, with one of our favorite couples, Marc & Melissa (https://vimeo.com/82859494) - the journey that took us to melacca (to celebrate our partners' birthdays) and the journey that utilized newspapers - lots of it.
here's to a magical and fairytale 2016, everybody. :)
