Today I was featured on the Sunday Times and AXA website:
๐
"Financial Services Manager Gold Club Award"
These awards and titles are great, and I really appreciate attaining them year over year.
But over time I realize my sense of fulfillment don't come from attaining these achievements anymore..
Which is why i hardly post achievements anymore...
My rewards are much more intangible.
These were my true rewards:
๐ Growth
The amount of difficulty I had to overcome in 2020 just to get where I am was overwhelming.
But I am sure everyone else had their own share of difficulty during the 2020 covid year.
Rather then dwell into the negativity during those times, i rather hope that each and every one of us could focus on getting out of those times and achieve what you set out to do, growing into a much stronger person.
๐ Inspiration
I hope i can continue to Inspire many others through my role. Because I know how it felt like to be struggling and with little to no hope around you.
It's the hope inside of you that keeps one going.
Do not let that hope wither down.
๐ Happiness
Also really happy to see my direct mentee, doing better than me, achieving his MDRT in his first rookie year!
Not through any family or big cases, but through multiple small cases converted through once strangers, give us the ultimate fulfilment.
Going deep with them and seeing them achieve what they set out for in the first place...
This feeling of happiness and satisfaction can never be traded.
๐ Gratitude
Lastly, i have always been grateful to the people who believed in me, who stood by me when times were tough, when negativity creeps in, when I had nothing but self doubts.
I am looking forward to the many more upcoming happy memories this year.
Because being a good financial planner is not just about providing sound financial advice - itโs also about being human.
