Empowering Businesses Through ESG | FOZL Assurance PAC Receives the DBS ESG Ready Award

On 15 September 2026, FOZL Assurance PAC completed the 2026 DBS ESG Ready Programme and became the first audit firm in Singapore to receive the DBS ESG Ready Award.

The ceremony was attended by Vincent Tang Boon Sun, Director and Partner of FOZL Assurance PAC, and Vincent Lye Kim Hee, Senior Audit Manager of FOZL Assurance PAC. The DBS Sustainability Day cm Graduation Ceremony featured welcome remarks by Mr Lim Him Chuan, Country Head, DBS Singapore, and was graced by Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, as Guest-of-Honour.

During the event, Ms. Low Yen Ling highlighted that sustainability is built through everyday business decisions, encouraging businesses to turn their ESG learning into action and lead by example.

At the award presentation, the DBS ESG Ready Award was presented by Ms. Low Yen Ling, with Vincent Tang Boon Sun representing FOZL Group to receive the award on stage. The recognition reflects FOZL Assurance PAC’s commitment to advancing ESG practices and integrating sustainability into business development.

Mr Vincent Tang shared his appreciation for the recognition and expressed that FOZL Group will continue to strengthen its ESG-related professional services, helping clients integrate ESG into their business operations and long-term development.

With more than 25 years of professional and leadership experience, Mr Ho brings extensive expertise across public-sector operations, healthcare, aviation, security and business development, with a strong track record in operational management and organisational leadership.

In his new role, Mr Ho will oversee the Group’s day-to-day operations and business management, drive operational effectiveness and business performance, and work closely with management, partners, directors and teams across the organisation to further strengthen the Group’s organisational capabilities and operational excellence.

Prior to joining FOZL Group, Mr Ho served as General Manager and Secretary of Ang Mo Kio Town Council. He also held various senior management positions across Singapore’s healthcare sector, including the Health Promotion Board, Changi General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Parkway Laboratory Services and Farrer Park Hospital.

Earlier in his career, Mr Ho spent several years with Singapore Airlines, where he was primarily responsible for station operations management and service delivery, gaining extensive experience in service and operational management.

His appointment reflects FOZL Group’s confidence in Mr Ho’s professional expertise, leadership experience and operational capabilities. We look forward to his contributions as he works alongside the team to further strengthen the Group’s operations and support its continued growth.

Ms Thed brings more than 20 years of professional experience, including eight years in audit and assurance with Ernst & Young LLP and BDO LLP. She subsequently moved into the corporate sector, where she held senior finance leadership positions with four SGX Mainboard-listed companies, including roles as Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller. Her expertise spans financial management, cross-border financial reporting, corporate governance, risk management, taxation, business strategy and corporate development.

In her new role, Ms Thed will take on broader responsibilities across the Group, working closely with management, partners, directors and teams to further strengthen operational effectiveness, cross-functional collaboration and organisational development.

This promotion reflects the recognition from the Group of the professional expertise and leadership experience demonstrated by Ms Thed, as well as confidence in her ability to contribute to the Group in her new role. It also marks an exciting new chapter in her journey with FOZL Group. We look forward to her continued contributions and leadership as the Group moves forward together.

On 29 August 2026, FOZL Group partnered with Hougang Residents’ Network to welcome 80 seniors for our National Day community initiative, “Celebrating National Day with Care and Sustainability.”

The FOZL office was filled with songs, laughter and plenty of warm moments as everyone came together to celebrate and spend a meaningful morning.❤️

This also marked the final session of FOZL’s National Day community outreach this August. From 8 to 29 August, our four sessions brought together more than 300 seniors from the community, creating many meaningful moments of connection along the way.

This August, it was the moments together that made it truly special.

FOZL Group concluded our August National Day community initiative with the fourth and final session, together with our community partners, client partners and volunteers.

This special morning welcomed seniors from the Hougang Residents’ Network for music, laughter and meaningful moments together. Ms Felinka Zhou Fan PBM, Director and Chief Strategy Officer of FOZL Group, and Dr Tan Kow Wah PBM, Dean of the FOZL Corporate Sustainability Research Institute, also joined us to share their National Day wishes and thoughts on community care and sustainability.

A special thank you to Ms Ann Yap, Vice-Chairperson of the Singapore Hougang Zone 3 Residents’ Network, and Mr Ken Lua, artiste and host, for bringing engaging hosting, interactions and music to the seniors.

The event also continued GRNEO’s commitment to sustainability in practice, with environmentally conscious clothing and everyday essentials prepared as National Day gifts—giving everyday items renewed purpose while sharing the values of mindful consumption and sustainability.

Throughout August, our four gatherings brought together 320 seniors from the community. Thank you to every community partner, client partner and volunteer who helped make these meaningful moments possible.

This August, Singapore FOZL Group continues its “Celebrating National Day with Care and Sustainability” initiative, together with community partner North East CDC, client partner GRNEO, and our dedicated volunteers. Through this National Day series, we hope to celebrate Singapore’s 61st National Day with seniors while bringing care, connection and sustainability into the community.

On 22 August 2026, the third session welcomed 80 seniors invited by North East CDC. Over local refreshments, music and interactive activities, everyone gathered in a warm and cheerful atmosphere to celebrate Singapore’s National Day together.

During the event, Dr Tan Kow Wah, PBM, Dean of FOZL Corporate Sustainability Research Institute, shared his reflections on National Day, community care and sustainable development. Ms Felinka Zhou Fan, Director & Chief Strategy Officer of FOZL Group, also joined the celebration and brought extra excitement with a special lucky draw, creating many joyful moments for everyone.

This session also continued GRNEO’s commitment to sustainability. Pre-loved clothing and everyday essentials were thoughtfully prepared as National Day gifts, encouraging the spirit of sharing, reusing and caring for our community. Through these simple actions, sustainability becomes part of everyday life.

We are grateful to North East CDC, GRNEO, and every volunteer for their support and contribution. It is through these collective efforts that each National Day gathering becomes a meaningful opportunity to connect with the community and create positive social impact.

On 7 August, FOZL Group hosted the “Cultural Night” in Beijing, warmly supported by Singapore Global Network (SGN) at The Vanda.

With a 1960s retro theme, entrepreneurs, business leaders, partners and friends gathered for an evening of Singaporean cuisine, Peranakan dance and music, and meaningful conversations.
