Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer will play a fundamental role in achieving the organisation’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. As a key member of the team, the main responsibilities are to build a network of contacts and relationships within all relevant markets with customers, prospects, influencers, industry bodies and specifiers to generate interest, identify and qualify opportunities and close sales and manage the ongoing commercial relationships.
What you will be doing:
• Demonstration of equipment, using a collaborative approach to help customers solve problems, and save time and/or money.
• Use consultative sales skills to understand customer challenges, to communicate the value proposition to various levels with the customer organization and to close sales.
• Source new sales opportunities through marketing inbound lead follow-up, networking activity, social media engagement, outbound cold calls, emails and other channels.
• Develop relationships and nurture suitable customers, prospects, influencers, industry bodies and specifiers to provide a regular stream of qualified and developed opportunities.
• Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators to include the level of activity, pipeline, new revenue business opportunities and lead generation activity.
• Build, manage and report on a pipeline of opportunities to cover monthly/quarterly target.
• Understand customer needs and requirements and build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
• Work closely with the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities.
• Maintain and expand your database of contacts within all relevant markets.

• Candidates must be self-starters and highly motivated. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a selling team.
• Ability to establish excellent working rapport with sales teams, marketing, other team members and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong listening and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
• Able to work on sites e.g. construction.
• Positive, persistent, proactive team player that is able to perform under pressure.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.

Qualifications
• NITEC and above.
