"Started out in the mids of 2018, consisting of members from punk background from bands like ZODD and UNSUB. Influenced by the likes of early 90s metal & punk bands such as Entombed, Darkthrone, Celtic Frost, Anti Cimex with aggressive punk elements from japanese punk bands like GISM and Zouo. Bringing a brandish style of black death metal and punk with a modern touch. Incorporating cavernous HM-2 drenched riffs and UK82 dbeat/pogo drumming with echoed out nihilistic vocals together to bring primitive death to the listener ears.”

Singapurská kapela Doldrey vznikla v roce 2018 a její členové pocházejí z punkového podhoubí kapel jako ZODD a UNSUB. Ovlivnily jí jak metalové a punkové kapely raných devadesátek jako Entombed, Darkthrone, Celtic Frost a Anti Cimex, tak agresivní japonský punk kapel GISM nebo Zouo. Doldrey na Fluff přivezou osobitou směs metalu a punku, kde tradiční zvuk dostává moderní punc. Poznáš je podle kytarových riffů zabalených do žánr definujícího efektu HM-2, agresivního UK82 dbeat/pogo stylu bicích a zastřených nihilistických vokálů.

Tapestry is ❤️❤️❤️

a year has passed but here we are, still coming to terms on coping with your absence. the last few years prior to syed hafiz's passing, a couple of pivotal events took place within each of our individual lives; family loss, marriage, parenthood etc. all of which was going on during the making of our next album.

we can't deny that we feel gutted that we were unable to record these songs and put out what was supposed to be our last record together. to honour his songs and sincere love for the band, we felt it was only right that we compiled any recordings that we could find for the final record to share it with the world.

these songs were recorded unplugged and raw by syed hafiz that was sent out to us during the song-writing process. we hope that you will take your time to listen to his last few written songs with us.

this is 'may the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face'.

grief can last a lifetime.
