An Inspiring Afternoon with Dr Ho Kah Leong – Art, Wisdom and Blessings
I am deeply honoured and grateful to have shared a memorable lunch with Dr Ho Kah Leong, one of Singapore's most respected artists, educators and cultural pioneers.
At 89 years old, Dr Ho continues to inspire generations through his lifelong dedication to art, education and nation-building. His humility, generosity and unwavering commitment to excellence remind us that true success is measured not only by what we achieve, but by the lives we inspire and the values we pass on.
One of the most meaningful moments of the afternoon was receiving two handwritten calligraphy pieces personally prepared by Dr Ho for my new office.
The first bears the words:
智慧经营
"Lead and manage with wisdom."
A timeless reminder that lasting success is built upon wisdom, integrity, compassion and vision. It inspires me to lead with purpose, serve with sincerity, and create value for businesses, professionals and the community.
The second carries the heartfelt blessing:
事业兴旺
"May your事业 flourish and prosper."
It is a beautiful encouragement to continue pursuing excellence while making a positive contribution to society.
I was also deeply honoured to receive several of Dr Ho's remarkable woodcut prints, including portraits of Singapore's national leaders and one of his beautiful landscape masterpieces. Each artwork reflects not only exceptional craftsmanship but also Singapore's history, leadership, values and cultural heritage.
Listening to Dr Ho share stories from his remarkable artistic journey, his philosophy on life and his passion for nurturing future generations was both humbling and inspiring. His life reminds us that a meaningful legacy is built through generosity, mentorship and service to others.
My heartfelt appreciation also goes to everyone present for the warm fellowship and meaningful conversations. It was truly an afternoon filled with learning, inspiration and friendship.
Thank you, Dr Ho, for your kindness, encouragement and generous blessings. I will treasure your calligraphy, your artworks and, above all, the wisdom you have shared.
I wish you continued good health, happiness and many more years of inspiring Singapore and the world through your extraordinary legacy.

与何家良博士共度一段充满艺术、智慧与感恩的美好时光
今天，我怀着无比感恩与荣幸的心情，与新加坡著名艺术家、教育家及文化先驱 何家良博士 共进午餐，并有幸聆听他的分享，获益良多。
现年89岁的何博士，数十年来始终坚持艺术创作、教育事业及文化传承。他不仅是新加坡艺术界德高望重的前辈，更以谦逊、仁厚和无私奉献的精神，影响了一代又一代的人。
此次最令我感动的是，何博士特别为我的新办公室亲笔题赠两幅墨宝。
「智慧经营」
这四个字蕴含着深远的人生智慧，提醒我无论经营企业还是待人处事，都要以智慧、诚信、责任与远见作为根基，以专业创造价值，以服务回馈社会。
另一幅墨宝题写：
「事业兴旺」
这是何博士给予我的殷切祝福，也勉励我继续秉持初心，追求卓越，在企业发展的同时，为社会创造更多价值，帮助更多企业、人才及家庭。
我将把这两幅珍贵的墨宝珍藏于新办公室，时时提醒自己，以智慧经营事业，以诚信待人，以专业服务社会，不忘初心，砥砺前行。
此外，我也深感荣幸获赠何博士数幅珍贵的木刻版画作品，包括新加坡国家领导人的肖像木刻，以及一幅优美的风景木刻作品。每一件作品都展现了何博士深厚的艺术造诣，也承载着新加坡的发展历程、文化精神与时代价值。
午餐期间，何博士分享了他数十年来的艺术创作历程、人生哲学，以及对艺术教育和文化传承的坚持。每一句话都充满智慧，每一个故事都令人深受启发。
真正伟大的艺术家，不只是创造作品，更是启迪人心；真正珍贵的财富，不只是艺术本身，更是愿意无私分享智慧、经验与人生价值。
