We started this research in the 70's. The most helpful participants were OD professors as well as very advanced practitioners. I, Roland, no longer have an interest in OD competencies. I now specialize in Whole System Transformation. Chris Worley is in my mind one of the leading Academic Professors with his teaching at Msod Pepperdine as well as USC. So the competencies has had his blessing in the past. William J. Rothwell, we may say runs the best online OD program in the world at Penn State. He has been seriously involved with me on this venture most likely since the 80's. These competencies are for Linear or planned change practitioners. I no longer believe in Linear change. Change has changed. I believe in Exponential Change. Under such, I hear that the world will be 1 billion times different in the next 50 years. Hang on to your hat. Abundance for all is just around the corner. Follow my blog to say attuned to why and what I am up to in this new world where we have the Internet every thing along with Artificial Intelligence.

Our new work has been re-created by Sherry Duda at the National OD Network under the new Global Framework. Check it out.

Her and my buddy Rothwell are doing more research on the standards (competencies). Bill is taking the year off as director of his program to discover the OD for today and tomorrow.

I will have his results on my Blog in 7 to 11 months.
