Hi Friends,
The second screening of The Painted Ladies (Singapore) is finally here!!!!!
Some of you might have attended my documentary launch on 8 Mar this year in conjunction of International Women's Day. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!
The documentary is about 5 women who embody forgiveness, love and self-worth. It is about going to the darkest side in their lives, harnessing the strength through embracing who they were, taking the masks down to share the complex truths about themselves – topics covered such as sexual abuse, drugs, suicides, bulimia, extra-martial affair, etc. Through these powerful stories, we admire their courage and strength to do so, as their love for others transcends above all norms, traditions and limitations. The film will inspire and empower women in the world to stand up for themselves and create possibilities of forgiveness, love and self-worth by being committed to the power of choice.
It is a very personal project for me and my brother Melvin Er because it was inspired by our own grandma who passed away from lung cancer last year, which is documented in this film as well. On top of this, our mum is featured with a powerful story to share as well.
If you've paid/donated previously and wants to watch again, admission is free for you.
All funds are going to the production of The Painted Ladies (Asia).
Call me at 92350874 to book a seat! Payment to be made at the door!
Come and be inspired!
