In Asia, especially in China, bike sharing services has grown so much within an year. Compared to the traditional bike sharing services(most in US), the new ones(Mobike, Obike, Offo etc.) removed the hassle of parking at limited stations. These bikes can be locked and parked anywhere.

Zume Pizza is the Apple of pizzas. It shows how a category with barely no innovation can innovate. In this category there were some ordering apps developed but that was it.

Zume Pizza started with a simple question to solve a problem. Why does pizza loose it's crisp taste when it gets delivered? The job-to-be-done was simple 'consumers wants to have a crisp pizza delivered'.

To solve this, Zume Pizza innovated the way their pizzas were made and delivered. The pizza gets baked during it gets delivered. So, as soon it gets baked it's in front of you to eat.

I'm sure that the $5billion US pizza market will soon get disrupted with this new business model.

Uber is so popular nowadays.

It is the biggest taxi(?) company in the world that doesn't own a single car. (This is no longer true. I've seen Uber cars provided to Uber drivers).

Few people imagined that it was possible to build a billion-dollar business by simply connecting people who want to go places with people willing to drive them there. We already had state-licensed taxicabs and private limousines; only by believing in and looking for secrets could you see beyond the convention to an opportunity hidden in plain sight.

Uber is the digital disruption of an industry that struggles to ensure high standards at low cost. Its business model is:
• Find drivers with access to a car who want to earn money.
• Orchestrate them centrally to offer a highly scaled and distributed transport platform.
• Allow people who want to make journeys book these drivers via a mobile application.
• Create a review system to ensure great service.
• Take a 20-30% cut of all bookings.
• Leverage the data collected to minimize wait times and maximize drive times.

Love the business model of Airbnb!

Before Airbnb, travelers had little choice but to pay high prices for a hotel room, and property owners couldn't easily and reliably rent out their unoccupied space. Airbnb was untapped supply and unaddressed demand where others saw nothin at all.
