Basic Theory was established in May 2015 by a pair of soul-sisters. Believing in fine qualities and designs, they launched this brand to idealize their concept of slow-living. It was the complexity of today’s modern lifestyles that prompted them into realizing that the basic and simple pleasures in life are constantly being forgotten. The brand and it's collections are curations of their inspirations, ideas & concepts that are meticulously thought out and designed in-house (most of the time) by the both of them. It is important to slow down a little and take a look at everything around us – that’s the mantra of Basic Theory. They want the brand & products to enhance the essence of a slow life because that is something that every single living-thing deserves.
