A closer look at our cold drinks counter - where daily rituals meet a little old world charm.

This is where we make our ribenas or pour our juices and refrigerated drinks. Also where we keep and take our daily supplements and meds.

There's another smaller antique counter at the side for prep of hot drinks.

It may look like an old world boutique cafe or boulangerie tucked into a corner of our home, but really it's fully functional and not a romanticised design language. It just happens to maybe turn out quite romantic.

*Sold, Thank you!*
Character pieces for homes that appreciate quiet beauty.

At Mariah & Sham, we have always loved styling in layers. Each element is chosen intentionally, allowing the composition to find its own harmony.

Our blooms follow that same philosophy. The vessels are selected as thoughtfully as the flowers themselves, bringing colour, texture and character to the arrangement so that the piece feels less like a bouquet and more like a small composition within the home.

These arrangements are created using carefully selected faux blooms - chosen for their form, texture and natural movement. When styled well, faux flowers can be just as exquisite, offering lasting beauty within the home.

Three exclusive pieces available.

DM us the floral number of your choice to reserve your piece.

Available while pieces remain.

🤍,
Mariah

3 yrs in, and we're still adding layers to our dry kitchen.

Designed to be compartmentalized, it carries its own charm and purpose.

Still a work in progress...I've yet to decide on the wall design and am being deeply intentional abt it.

The heart of it all is our antique caisse counter. The kitchen was intentionally designed and built around this signature piece. It stands right in front of the main kitchen door and behind it, also compartmentalized, is where the wet kitchen resides.

Love its details - subtle yet assured. Refined without trying too hard. Love its patina too - still maturing beautifully, wearing its age with dignity. There's a masculinity to it - strong, grounded and enduring.

So yup 3 yrs in and we're still figuring out which wall treatment truly belongs in that space. Takes a lot of restraint, what will all the accessible options out there, but a home is meant to be lived in, to belong, to evolve and tell a story.

Kitchen was extra dusty few weeks ago from the construction work nearby and fridge was full so we used covered glass jars for the herbs.

Unlike the drier herbs like thyme or moisture loving ones like mint which can survive in terrarium-like environments, celery leaves, coriander and parsley prefer open containers.

But they did last 3 days in that glass jar - dust free at least.
