One of our services - Data destruction through degaussing

What is degaussing?
Degaussing uses specialized, high-powered magnets to completely destroy data stored in your hard disk drive (HDD).

Can data on a degaussed HDD be recovered?
No. Once a drive has been degaussed, it is impossible to retrieve the data.

Can a degaussed HDD be used after degaussing?
No. Once a drive has been degaussed, it can no longer be used for storage. A degaussed drive is inoperable in any system.

Why should you use our professional data destruction service?
- Simply deleting your data does not destroy it, it can still be retrieved and compromised.
- Trying to do it yourself with data erasure software will not guarantee the destruction of data.

End of service notice for Shell-Metalo E-waste collection bins.

Unfortunately, due to the new policy implemented by NEA, all Shell-Metalo E-Waste collection bins at selected 24 participating stations will ceased from 01 July 2021.
The last day to drop off your e-waste is on 30 June 2021.

You may refer to NEA page for more updates and information on how to recycle your e-waste in the future.

In lieu of the current COVID-19 situation, our team has came up with a few measures to do our part in containing the further spread of the virus while ensuring business continuity. Metalo has been monitoring the health of our worker closely by carrying out temperature taking exercises at least twice daily, as ensuring our worker 's safety and well-being is our utmost priority.
Please take note of the following updates:

Metalo International operational hours will stay the same.
Our management team has split into two teams to work alternatively in office/ at home
All visits to warehouse/office are strictly by appointment only
All appointment to be arranged in advanced
Only 2 visitors allowed per appointment
SafeEntry, temperature taking and wearing of mask are mandatory during visits
Always maintain 1M distance from our driver out for collection/delivery
As the situation develops, Metalo will continue to update and take up further measures accordingly.
