In light of the on-going covid-19 pandemic and circuit breaker measures such as telecommute adoption, the company has decided that our business model is no longer sustainable and hence our decision to close.
We thank our customers who have supported us and our beneficiaries all these years and will be reaching out to them to refund their account balance.
Meanwhile, we are also in talks with partners to provide alternative employment arrangements for our elderly beneficiaries
Lastly, we would like to thank our grant sponsors, RAISE SG and HDB for their support and guidance to which all this would not have been possible. The crazy idea we pitched 3 years ago received doubts to whether a regular community giving/support model will work. From what we have seen over these years we can confidently answer: “Yes… The kampong spirit is still very much alive.”
