The Holy Week is a reminder of how Jesus spent his last week of his life before going up to the cross and dying for the sins of man. As believers, Kurioslee is grateful for the path that Jesus has chosen for us.

Together with the rest of Singapore, the last week of mourning for our 1st Prime Minister has been a difficult week for Kurioslee. And just like many other Singaporeans, Mr Lee is more than a former Prime Minister but someone who is very much central in our daily lives.

However as believers of the Creator of this universe, Kurioslee is comforted to know that our Creator do not leave us alone to deal with grief on an infinite basis but continue to strengthen and renew us in difficult periods of our lives.

Taken from from the Holy Bible, we hope the below verses will comfort and bless those who read this post just as it has comforted and blessed Kurioslee.

Kurioslee is privileged to walk the last journey with our 1st Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew to the Parliament House, the institution he loved most and a place where he believe the most effective form of public service reside.

It is our hope that when future leaders step into this institution, that they will be reminded that leadership is not defined by statistics but by selflessly and often journeying alone, carrying the aspirations, hope and burden of its people and lead them to a destination that they will never be able to reach by themselves. And no one in Singapore can ever amplify this character better than Mr Lee Kuan Yew
