Hi HCI-ians who have signed up for NanoPower!
Congratulations for making the RIGHT choice!
Looking forward to sharing an enriching session with you when we will go all the way down to the atomic level and look at things from a NANO view! Though its only a short 3-day session, what we cover ranges from surface chemistry to solid state physics. We will see what makes Soo Kee Jewellery's purple gold purple and what makes a material hate water so much.
Have patience... and all will be revealed in 3 days time.

HEY HCI-ians ! Looking forward to your next Sabbatical ?

We will be holding our next sabbatical - "Nano POWER!" at HCI from 02 - 04 Sept 13.

Our lead consultant - Dion Khoo will be sharing with the students about nano coating, synthesis of nano particles and exploring their properties. He will also be sharing anti-microbial, optical and surface properties.

Moreover, students will also have the opportunity to learn how to modify a surface to repel water, change colour of gold and disinfect water using nanoparticles!

So, HCI-ians see you soon in your upcoming sabbatical! Cheers!
