I started with nothing....
No training
No experience
No external funding
No contacts
No network
With almost all external odds stacked up against me, I was aware that I did have many more things ‘within me’, that would tilt the scales in my favor....
A passion for design & craft,
The desire to innovate,
The courage be different,
A perpetual hunger to learn,
The ability to problem solve,
A knack for product design,
And most importantly, the almost absence of fear of failure...
It’s what’s gotten me, an erstwhile stay at home mum of two, a trailing spouse...to where I am today. From crafting costumes for my kids to showcasing my collection on the runway as part of Singapore’s bicentennial year celebrations, from reading national news daily to being featured in the Straits Times on National Day... and so much more....has been a dream come true!
Never had I imagined....!!!
Dreams don’t come with an expiry date. So, it’s never to late to pursue them...
