New Training program established under IMI(UK) - Professional Achievement Certificate.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Calibration.

This program covers both Theory and Practical to allow learners have a feel to use Electronic Equipment to perform check and calibration on vehicle with practical condition.

Certificate will be awarded and issued by IMI(UK) upon successful completion of this program. Please check out our website to register.

Congratulation to our Secretary, Sky Seow for being awarded as Specialist Adult Educator (AEP) under Skills Future.
He was invited by ITE as the pioneer batch to participate in the Skills Badges application under Automotive Sector for his contribution and initiatives in the industry to create Adult Learning opportunities to enable knowledge and skills uplift.
His application write up with multiple Training Projects and facilities upgrading encompassed business analysis and performance outcome measures matches the requirements and demonstrated competencies in various disciplines during assessment conducted by Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) and qualified for 14 Skills Badges under different sectors.
Hope to see his contribution to our Association and Automotive Industry and assist our members as well as all fellow Automotive related personnel in some way to excel in work professionalism and excellence.

Motoserv Pte Ltd had their Annual Appreciation Award last evening.

It is a meaningful event to show appreciation and recognition to their staffs for all efforts in 2020.

Momento and Prices were given to deserved teams for individual challenge.

This is good for promoting the professionlism of personnel in the Automotive Industry. Hope to see more events from our members.

Successful completion of 8-10 Jan 2021 IMI(UK) - Hybrid/EV Training Program.

Participants were presented with a course T-Shirt as an identity to certify them as "Certified Hybrid/EV Service Mechanic".

Welcome new participants from Vehicle Sales Sector. It was a good experience for Vehicle Sale personnel to perform hands on drills during the practical session though this may not be their region of interest. Feedbacks were taken to include more knowledge base to cover gaps under Vehicle Sales.

New topic on Air-con servicing for Hybrid/EV was inserted to enhance knowledge for participant as improper refrigeration charging may caused damages to the hybrid/EV system which involves heavy replacement cost.

Next Course date : 5-7 Mar 2021.

Congratulations to our member - Doctor Gearbox to be CASETrust accredited .

It is a long and tedious process to be on board the CASETrust accredited businesses.

During the process, ASA provided guidance to Doctor Gearbox to make necessary adjustments to further enhance their current business practices to meet Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.

It is an encouraging move to keep up with industry and market compliance to stay in the business.
