Our team at GEE Global is excited to see our client, Singapore Luxury Homes, quoted in Bloomberg's analysis of the city's current real estate rental market.

Property agents have been feeling the pinch. Sunita Gill, co-founder of real estate consultancy Singapore Luxury Homes, has seen some of her expat clients relocate to Dubai. “The government’s latest cooling measures — doubling stamp duties for foreigners to 60% — has also deterred potential investors, leading to lower demand for luxury rentals,” she said.

The coverage in "Singapore's Sky-High Rents Show First Signs of Cooling" provides brilliant insight into the ever-evolving narrative of Singapore's real estate landscape.

“We’re personally witnessing a 10-15% reduction for properties listed for more than two months,” said Gill. “The luxury real estate market in Singapore may have become saturated recently with an abundance of high-end properties available for rent.”

Our approach to this project involved redefining the traditional law office aesthetic, seeking inspiration from the polished ambience of financial hedge fund powerhouses. "This is an amazing journey for composer Kelly Tang and The Foundation. We commissioned him in 2019; he suffered a stroke in 2020, and when he called me and said that he was recovering and that his compositional powers had returned, I felt a tremendous spiritual uplift!" says Michael Tay, founder and executive director of the Foundation for The Arts & Social Enterprise.

Kelly Tang went on to compose "Movements in Time - Artworks from the National Gallery" shortly thereafter, a series of orchestral suites mirroring artworks from the National Gallery Singapore and reflecting the movements of Singapore's history.

The world-premiere Music Commissioning Series concert featuring Tang's piece will take place at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 24th June 2023. It will be performed by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, led by Chan Tze Law.

The evening will also include a piano solo by 11-year-old prodigy Mikkel Myer Lee and a "Making Of" documentary about the recording of the UTOPIA Symphony by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
