Over the weekend, our team joined the Bakti Sosial initiative in Batam for the second year in a row, supporting volunteer doctors from Singapore (Duke NUS, KKH, Elite Dental Group - Dr Gerald Tan, Dr Valselia, Nurses and other healthcare professionals) and Indonesia. Together, we helped families from nearby villages bring their little ones from 3 month old infants to 10 year olds for their annual health checks with Yayasan Citramas, Dayone, Nongsa DigiTal Pak, Yayasan Keluarga Batam, and Palang Merah Indonesia.

Apart from translation support to coordinating the flow across stations (height & weight, dentists, dietitians, specialist care and more), we were proud to play our part in ensuring everything ran smoothly.

💙 In just six hours, over 796 children received care, a true testament to the power of collaboration and compassion.

We’re grateful to be part of this journey again, and inspired by the dedication of the doctors who volunteer their time every year.
