🔟Years. What a journey!
Before joining this industry, Yap was in logistics, stepping into a completely new world with no natural market and no client base.
The beginning was tough. He started with cold calls every single day, speaking to strangers and facing countless rejections and objections. It wasn’t easy, but every “no” taught him something, and every challenge pushed him to grow.
Along the way, Yap kept learning, upgrading and working on becoming better at what he does — eventually becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and joining Toastmasters to strengthen his communication skills. His dedication and perseverance also led him to achieve his first MDRT recognition — a meaningful milestone in his career.
Fast forward 10 years, and his business looks very different today. He now works mainly with existing clients and referrals — relationships built over the years through trust, service and genuine support.
From chasing that very first appointment to having clients confidently introduce their family and friends to him today, it has been one meaningful journey ❤️
Same passion. Greater purpose.
And still so much more to come.
