PODM seeks to build a strong, healthy and engaged community by connecting vol
unteers of all ages, race, nationalities, religions, gender and backgrounds with opportunities to serve and by providing resources to organisation and/or organiser in order to build creative and effective volunteer projects, programs and partnerships. PODM has four core functions:
-Connect individuals and groups to volunteer opportunities in and around Singapore
-Build the capacity for effective volunteering through experience and professional training opportunities with various partners
-Promote and celebrate volunteerism
-Participate in strategic partnerships and initiatives to mobilise volunteers to strengthen the volunteering community
