Monday morning, but my mind went back to this. 🌊

Last year, somewhere between sea breeze and laughter,
we paused… without needing a reason.

It’s a good reminder —
the life we’re building shouldn’t only be lived on weekends or vacations.

Back to work today,
but with a little more clarity on what I’m working for. 🌼

Mentally… I’m here.
šŸ“ Edinburgh Old Town

Warm coffee, cool air, zero rush.

Not a dream — a direction.

Building income streams that support this kind of life,
not compete with it. 🌼

Happy almost weekend, everyone!

This is how I keep my sanity midweek. šŸ˜…
No big systems — just small ones that actually stick.

Keeping it together this Wednesday… one page at a time. šŸ“–

Between leading, planning, and life —
these quiet pockets do more heavy lifting than most strategies. 🌱

Sanity, but make it a daily habit. 🌼

I asked God to show me His grace this year… in a way I wouldn’t miss. šŸ™šŸ»

This photo was taken at Antelope Canyon —
a place shaped so beautifully over time, carved with intention, with light finding its way even through the narrowest spaces.

And somehow… it feels like a reflection of this season.

The start of the year hasn’t been the easiest.

There were moments of uncertainty, health concerns, and things and responsibilities that quietly weighed on my mind more than I showed.

Last October, my gynecologist told me I would need surgery — to remove polyps and undergo a procedure for my uterine lining.

I remember processing it… and then life happened.
Travel, work, and fear of surgery — I delayed it.

But somewhere along the way, I also made a quiet decision.

To take better care of myself.
To start walking daily.
To be more intentional with my health.

Not perfectly — but consistently.

Today was my follow-up check.

And this time, the update was different.

No surgery needed.
Just a review again… in one year.

I paused for a moment when I heard that.

Because this was exactly what I had been praying for —
a sign of God’s grace that I wouldn’t miss.

And today, I received it.

A reminder that just like this canyon —
even in tight, uncertain spaces,
God is still shaping, protecting, and allowing light to come through.

I’m deeply grateful —
for answered prayers,
for the strength to start,
and for the reminder that taking care of ourselves matters more than we think.

Here’s to continuing to show up — for our health, our future, and the life we’re building. 🌱

A slow Monday morning… before everything speeds up. ā˜•ļø

Kaya toast and coffee — simple, familiar, grounding.

Before the meetings, the decisions, and the responsibilities…
I’ve learned to create small pockets of calm.

Because the life I’m building isn’t just about working hard —
it’s about having the space to actually enjoy it too.

Starting the week right. One quiet moment at a time. 🌻

Somewhere between childhood and adulthood… we forgot how to play. 🌸

Saturday mornings have a way of slowing things down just enough to let memories catch up.

I was out for a walk earlier when I spotted these flowers — and suddenly, I was a kid again.

Back when I was the Head Pastry Chef of the Backyard Mud Kitchen. šŸ˜…

ā€œBakingā€ meant mixing sand and water, and the biggest decision was choosing which petals made the best decoration.

No deadlines.
No responsibilities.
No ā€œwhat ifs.ā€

Just time… and imagination.

Then somewhere along the way — adulting happened.

Today, life looks very different.

I’ve traded mud cakes for a corporate career and playtime for responsibilities that are very real.

But here’s what hasn’t changed:
I still have that ā€œplay anytimeā€ heart.

I have places I want to see, experiences I don’t want to delay.
I don’t want to wait for a ā€œmagic ageā€ to start living.

And as someone on a single income, I’ve learned —
I am my own safety net.

Planning for my future.
Preparing for my parents’ needs.
Holding both responsibility and intention at the same time.

That’s why I started building something alongside my career.

Not to replace it —
but to create options.

A system that works quietly in the background,
so I can live now… while still preparing for later.

Because maybe we can’t go back to childhood…

But we can design a life where we don’t have to wait to enjoy it. 🌿✨

Happy Saturday!

If you’ve been thinking about building something on the side too,
feel free to message me — happy to share what’s been working for me. šŸ’¬

They call it the Sandwich Generation.

But for those of us navigating it solo, it feels more like being the CEO of two different lifetimes —
the one I’m building for my future,
and the one I’m protecting for my parents.

After years in corporate, I’ve learned this:
the best way to handle a crisis isn’t to react well…
it’s to be prepared before the ā€œfireā€ even starts. šŸ”„

Lately, that lesson has been hitting closer to home.

As my parents get older and their health becomes more unpredictable, I’ve realized that being a devoted child isn’t just about showing up.
It’s about the quiet, behind-the-scenes work — building medical emergency funds, planning ahead, and making sure their care is never a question of if, but how.

Because the truth is, medical costs don’t just test your emotions —
they test your financial readiness too.

And then there’s the second layer.

Being single means I am my own safety net.

So I’m building my Future Fund with intention — because I refuse for retirement to look like ā€œjust getting by.ā€

I have places I want to see. šŸŒŽ
Experiences I don’t want to delay.
And a rule I’ve set for myself:
my travel fund and my retirement fund will never compete.

It’s not always easy — balancing career growth, family responsibility, and personal dreams all at once.
But there’s a quiet kind of peace that comes from knowing you’re preparing for the unexpected, while still designing a life you can actually enjoy.

And along the way, I’ve also started building a second source of income — something that quietly runs in the background, supporting both responsibility and choice.

Because sometimes, responsibility isn’t just about holding everything together today —
it’s about building more than one way to support your life tomorrow.

One lesson this season has made very clear to me:
start before you feel ready… because some things in life won’t wait until you are. 🌱

If you’ve been thinking about creating an additional income stream alongside your career, you’re not alone.
Happy to share what I’ve been learning — just message me. šŸ¤

To anyone balancing today’s responsibilities with tomorrow’s dreams —
keep building, at your own pace.

The systems you put in place now
will one day become the support you’ll be grateful for. ✨

Tuesday lunch break.

Somewhere between meetings, responsibilities, and planning for the future…

you remember to eat. šŸ˜…

A quick pause to refuel — not just for the afternoon,
but for the life I’m building one day at a time.

Because sustaining a career, managing responsibilities, and creating options for the future…

requires energy too.

Monday morning strategy session with myself.

Step 1: show up.
Step 2: do responsible adult things.
Step 3: continue building the future I keep talking about.

Turns out designing a life takes more than one Monday…
but it’s a good place to start.

Homemade breakfast… but make it look fancy. 🤩

Iced coffee.
Three mini open sandwiches.
A quiet Sunday morning.

Today’s agenda:
Finish my training, read a book, cook my own dinner, and go for a night walk.
No strict order — just going with the Sunday vibe.

Fueling up for a restful day and a clear mind before another work week begins.

After a full week of responsibilities, I’ve learned that some mornings are simply meant for slowing down, refueling, and enjoying the small things before the pace picks up again tomorrow.

Because a calm mind today
is often the best preparation for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday, everyone. 🌱

Hope you’re giving yourself a little quiet time too.

Saturday volunteering for a cause close to my heart.

Today I learned something surprising —
only 1.8% of Singapore’s population donates blood, yet regular donations are essential to ensure patients of all blood types receive the blood they need.

It’s a small act for us, but it can mean everything to someone else.

Between building a career, managing responsibilities, and planning for the future, I’ve come to value moments like this — the opportunity to show up and give back where I can.

And one thing I’m especially grateful for:
while I’m here volunteering today, parts of my online business continue running quietly in the background.

Because building systems that don’t rely entirely on my physical presence means I can create space for moments that matter.

Grateful to be part of this initiative today. ā¤ļø

Happy Saturday, everyone! 🌼
