We are excited to announce that Ecorigin is an official sponsor of the upcoming Sustainability in Packaging Asia 2026 Summit, taking place right here in Singapore on 3 and 4 June 2026.

As pioneers in transforming renewable biomass materials into high-performance alternatives to traditional plastics, we look forward to driving the conversation on supply chain sustainability and actionable green innovation.

Mark your calendars for the morning of Thursday, 4 June 2026, as we take the stage to deliver our keynote address titled “Paving the Way to a Plastic-free Future — Biomass-based Packaging as the Cornerstone of your ESG Strategy.” During this session, we will dive into how embedding biomass solutions at the very beginning of your packaging supply chain serves as a powerful catalyst to elevate long-term ESG performance and eliminate traditional plastic reliance.

If you are attending the summit, we would love to connect, exchange insights, and explore how we can support your organization's transition toward next-generation sustainable packaging.

Small choices, big impact. Introducing the Green Habit Initiative by Ecorigin.

Guided by our philosophy, "Use Less, Love More," we are transforming everyday essentials to support both our planet and our community right here in Singapore. We are kicking things off with our FSC-certified sustainable tissue boxes which are designed to protect responsibly managed forests while reducing carbon footprint from daily routines.

Real change happens through collective action. For May and June 2026, we are incredibly honoured to kick off this journey by delivering tissue box donations alongside our amazing launch partners:

- Hao Ren Hao Shi (HRHS): Delivering essentials straight to doorsteps via their mobile grocery distributions.
- Bukit Gombak Cares: Joining forces with the Bukit Gombak CCC CDWF for neighbourhood care distributions.
- Metta Welfare Association and Lions Home for the Elders: Delivering premium essentials directly to residents and stakeholders in need.

This is just the beginning. We have a massive pipeline of incredible beneficiaries, grassroots organisations, and social welfare groups that will benefit from the Green Habit Initiative in June and beyond.

Stay tuned as we feature our upcoming partners and share the community spirit together. Head over to ecolifeware.com for more.

April marks Earth Month, culminating in Earth Day on 22 April, a global reminder that sustainability is not just an environmental issue, but a business one.

In Singapore, this conversation is especially relevant. As a highly urbanised and resource-constrained nation, sustainability requires a collective effort across communities, industries, and businesses. From ground-up initiatives like clean-ups and conservation programmes to corporate ESG commitments, Earth Month reflects a growing shift towards long-term, systemic change.

For businesses, this is an opportunity to reflect on the role we play, not only in reducing environmental impact, but in shaping more responsible supply chains. Product packaging sits at the intersection of functionality and sustainability, making material choices more critical than ever.

At Ecorigin, we believe that innovation is key to enabling this transition. Through our plastic-free coating technology and alternative material solutions, we support businesses in moving towards more sustainable packaging, without compromising on performance.

Because meaningful progress happens when sustainability is embedded into everyday business decisions, not just once a year, but continuously.

Sustainability is no longer a side conversation, it is becoming central to how businesses operate, differentiate, and grow.
Across industries, regulatory expectations are tightening while consumers and business partners are placing greater emphasis on transparency, accountability, and responsible sourcing. As a result, companies are increasingly re-evaluating not just their products, but the materials and systems behind them.

Packaging, in particular, has become a key focus area. Businesses must now grapple with a careful balance between performance, cost, and environmental impact. The challenge lies in finding solutions that are not only more sustainable, but also practical and scalable for real-world operations.

At Ecorigin, we work alongside businesses to support this transition. Through our innovative biomass-based coating technology and wide range of plastic-free solutions, we aim to enable more sustainable choices without compromising on functionality or efficiency.

Meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight, but it can start with better decisions.

On 28 March, people around the world will turn off their lights to mark Earth Hour, a global movement led by the World Wide Fund for Nature to raise awareness about environmental protection.

While the hour itself is symbolic, the message behind it is lasting: sustainability is shaped by the choices we make every day.
From packaging to tableware, everyday materials play a role in our environmental footprint.

Through our innovative plastic-free coating technology, Ecorigin transforms single-use products into more sustainable solutions. Our range includes wood pulp and sugarcane bagasse tableware, paper food packaging and containers, high-barrier aluminized paper packaging, and bioplastic products.

Convenience has become part of everyday life. From takeaway meals to food delivery and on-the-go consumption, many products are designed to make daily routines faster and easier.

But convenience also comes with hidden environmental costs. Disposable packaging and single-use items may only be used for a short time, yet the resources required to produce them can have a lasting impact.

The solution is not to remove convenience, but to redesign it.

By rethinking materials, improving product design, and working across supply chains, businesses can deliver the convenience consumers expect while reducing environmental impact.

At Ecorigin, we integrate advanced manufacturing expertise with innovative R&D to convert renewable biomass materials into next-generation sustainable packaging solutions. By working with businesses and organisations, we aim to reduce waste across supply chains while supporting a more circular approach to materials.

Because sustainable innovation should begin long before a product reaches the consumer.

Lunar New Year is a season of abundance, but what happens after the celebrations matters too.

From donating excess festive food through Food Bank Boxes, checking with non-profits like Food From The Heart, or reaching out to nursing homes and community organizations, small actions can help reduce waste while supporting others.

Unwanted gifts can find new homes, leftovers can be reimagined, and composting helps return nutrients back to the earth. At Ecorigin, many of our products are plastic-free, recyclable and compostable, with some designed for home composting, helping to make responsible disposal easier even after festive gatherings.

Let’s extend the spirit of giving beyond the New Year to our community and the planet.

This Lunar New Year, let’s celebrate with intention.

From choosing responsibly sourced food and thoughtful gifting, to reusing red packets creatively and recycling them correctly, small actions can make a big difference.

For festive gatherings, switching to biodegradable, plastic-free tableware made from sugarcane pulp and paper helps reduce waste without compromising convenience. Every choice counts as we welcome a new year of renewal and responsibility.

Together, let’s reduce, reuse, and recycle for a greener start to the year.

Franchise networks play a powerful role in shaping how sustainability is practised at scale. With standardised operations, centralised procurement, and strong influence across supply chains, they are uniquely positioned to drive meaningful change toward greener growth and net zero goals.

From rethinking packaging and material choices to embedding sustainability at the start of the supply chain, small operational shifts can lead to significant environmental impact when applied across multiple outlets and markets.

At Ecorigin, we can work alongside local and regional franchise networks to turn sustainability commitments into action. With regional production in Thailand and Johor Bahru, Malaysia, we support scalable, plastic-free and biomass-based solutions that help reduce waste and support green progress.
