People assume that 18 years in the creative game means I’ve got it all figured out.
Truth is, my best lessons didn’t come from the wins.
They came from the flops.
The client projects that tanked.
The videos that never made the cut.
The “what now?” moments when a brief went sideways.
But here’s the twist...
Those weren’t failures.
They were classrooms in disguise.
Every time I botched a pitch, overshot a deadline, or stared at a blank screen for hours,
I learned something no course or coach could ever teach.
👉 Creativity isn’t built in confidence.
It’s built in corrections.
And here’s where the real magic happens:
When you start sharing the unpolished side of your creative journey, people lean in.
They trust you more.
They see themselves in your story.
That’s how you build a tribe of creatives, not just a following.
Funny thing is...
The more honest I got about my screw-ups, the faster my business grew.
Because mentorship isn’t about giving advice from a pedestal.
It’s about showing up, flaws and all, so others know it’s okay to try, fail, and try again.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re the only one stumbling, trust me, you’re not alone.
Because in this industry,
👉 Your mess is your mentorship.
