The dunya is not evil.

But it becomes dangerous when it makes you forget why you were created.

Allah says:

" Know that the life of this world is only play, amusement, adornment, boasting among yourselves, and competition in wealth and children…”
- Surah Al-Hadid 57:20

The scary thing about dunya
is not that it looks bad.

It looks attractive.

That is why people slowly become consumed by:
• money
• status
• followers
• beauty
• careers
• validation

Until Allah becomes secondary.

And the frightening part is:
sometimes a person gains the entire dunya
while losing their relationship with Allah quietly.

Islam does not teach us to abandon the dunya.

It teaches us:
do not let the dunya enter your heart more than your hand.

Because anything you love more than Allah
will eventually control you.

Not every destroyed heart is destroyed by sin.

Some are destroyed by needing to be seen.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
" The thing I fear most for you is minor shirk: showing off. "
- Musnad Ahmad

A deed can look beautiful publicly, while being empty with Allah.

Sometimes Shaytan does not stop people from doing good.

He simply changes:
• why they do it
• who they do it for
• whose validation they seek

So the prayer becomes performance.
The charity becomes image.
The reminder becomes attention.
The worship becomes identity.

And slowly, sincerity disappears.

This is why the righteous people loved hidden deeds.

Because deeds done secretly are often the safest from riya’ (showing off).

Not every deed needs an audience.

Sometimes the most beloved acts to Allah
are the ones nobody knows except Him.

Yang penting bukan bagaimana kita bermula, tetapi bagaimana kita mengakhiri

Not every delayed dua is a rejected dua.

Sometimes Allah delays something because:
• the timing is not right,
• He is protecting you from harm,
• or He wants you to become closer to Him through patience and dua.

Never stop making dua just because you do not see immediate results.

Allah hears every whisper, every tear and every silent prayer.

Keep asking.
Keep trusting.
Keep turning back to Him.

“And your Lord says, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’”
(Quran 40:60)

One of Shaytan’s most dangerous tricks is not making a believer reject Islam.

It is making them delay repentance.

* “I’m still young.”
* “I’ll become religious later.”
* “After marriage.”
* “After I fix my life.”
* “After this one last sin.”

But the problem is:
death was never promised to the elderly only.

Allah says:

> “And no soul knows in what land it will die.”
> — Surah Luqman 31:34

The frightening thing about sin is not simply committing it.

It is becoming comfortable enough to delay returning from it.

Because every delayed repentance hardens the heart a little more.

And slowly:

* guilt decreases
* sins feel normal
* worship feels heavy
* dunya feels bigger
* akhirah feels distant

But no matter how far someone falls,
the door of tawbah remains open until death reaches them.

Allah does not ask for perfection.

He asks that you return.

Again.
And again.
And again.

Do not let Shaytan convince you that “later” is guaranteed.

The Day of Arafah is not just another Islamic date.

It is one of the greatest days in the sight of Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.” - Sahih Muslim

Think about that.

Across the entire year…
with all the nights of worship, Ramadan, and other blessed moments,
this day stands above them in the number of people Allah saves from Hellfire.

And the Prophet ﷺ also told us:

“Allah draws near, then praises them to the angels…” - Sahih Muslim

On this day, Allah boasts about His servants to the angels.

Not because they are perfect.

But because they came:
* repenting
* worshipping
* hoping
* broken
* sincere

The people standing on Arafah during Hajj are witnessing one of the greatest moments on earth.

But even for those not performing Hajj,
this day is a massive opportunity.

The Prophet ﷺ said fasting the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.
- Sahih Muslim

One day.
Two years of sins forgiven.
Do not treat Arafah like an ordinary day.

Some people may walk into that day carrying years of sins and leave it completely changed before Allah.

8 Sunnah Acts To Do in Eid Aidiladha:

1. Enliven the night of Hari Raya Aidiladha

Scholars have derived this merit from a hadith narrated by Abu Umamah r.a, where the Prophet s.a.w. said:
مَنْ أَحْيَا لَيْلَتَيْ الْعِيدَين لَمْ يَمُتْ قَلْبُهُ يَوْمَ تَمُوتُ الْقُلُوبُ
“Whoever enlivens the two nights of (Aidilfitri & Aidiladha), his heart will not wither in the day when all hearts die.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

2. Recite the Takbir
The period when it is permissible to recite the takbir begins from Maghrib (on the eve of Aidiladha) until the commencement of the Aidiladha sunnah prayer on the next day.

3. Take a bath or shower

Ibn ‘Abbas r.a. narrated that the Prophet s.a.w. said:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْتَسِلُ يَومَ الفِطْرِ وَيَومَ الأَضْحَى
“The Prophet s.a.w. would take a bath on the day of Aidilfitri and the day of Aidiladha.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah)

4. Wear your best outfit and put on perfume

The Prophet s.a.w. would prepare a set of Yemeni clothing with red decorations distinctly just for celebrating Aidilfitri or Aidiladha.
“He (the Prophet s.a.w.) would adorn on ‘eid (Aidilfitri & Aidiladha) with a red cloak.”
(Al-Mu’jam Al-Awsat)

5. Eat before performing Aidiladha Prayer at home

“The Prophet s.a.w. would not proceed (for the sunnah prayer) on the day of Aidiladha unless he had eaten some dates. And he would eat them in odd numbers.”
(Sahih Al-Bukhari)

6. Perform the sunnah Aidiladha prayer

The sunnah Aidiladha prayer is a two raka’at prayer that includes additional takbir in between the Takbiratul Ihram and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. It is considered one of the most highly recommended sunnah prayers (n
