One Nexus Pte Ltd is honoured to celebrate ASME's 40th Anniversary alongside SAF Day at the Combined Rededication Ceremony.

Businesses play a vital role in supporting our National Servicemen, helping to build a stronger and more resilient Singapore. I was especially touched by Minister for National Development Mr. Chee Hong Tat's words: "The heart is where home is." A meaningful reminder that our love, commitment, and service are what make Singapore a home worth protecting.

Happy 40th Anniversary, ASME, and thank you to all who support National Service. 🇸🇬

📢 Carbon Tax in Malaysia: It's No Longer "If", It's "When".

The latest headlines say Malaysia's carbon tax is now a matter of time. Which means businesses have officially entered the "coming soon" phase—the one where everyone knows it's arriving, but nobody knows exactly which day. 

🌿 Think of it like the rainy season: You know it's coming! You can see the clouds.
Waiting until you're soaked isn't the best strategy. While implementation timing may shift due to economic and geopolitical considerations, the direction is clear: carbon emissions will increasingly carry a cost. Companies that start measuring, reducing, and managing their emissions today will likely be better prepared than those waiting for the official announcement.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's proposed carbon tax is "only a matter of time", says Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup, with revenue from the levy potentially channelled into a National Adaptation Fund to support flood mitigation and other climate re...

The ocean gives us food, oxygen, livelihoods, and climate regulation.

But it’s under threat from overfishing, climate change, pollution, and habitat loss.

When our ocean is in crisis, so are we.

Honoured to have had the opportunity to be acquainted with Dr. Wei-nee Chen at the FELDA event.

It was a meaningful occasion to engage with her in person and gain valuable perspective from her extensive experience in carbon markets and sustainability development. Her leadership in advancing Malaysia’s carbon ecosystem, particularly through initiatives in Bursa Carbon Exchange,

The discussion at the event also highlighted the growing importance of collaboration between key stakeholders in agriculture, land development, and carbon markets—especially in sectors such as palm oil, where sustainability and credible carbon frameworks are becoming increasingly critical.

Grateful for the opportunity to connect and exchange views at such a significant platform, and I look forward to future engagements that further strengthen collaboration in this space.

The palm oil industry is rapidly emerging as a key frontier in the global carbon economy, offering significant opportunities for meaningful climate impact through nature-based solutions and decarbonisation initiatives.

We are proud to advance this transformation through the collaboration between CRX and One Nexus Pte Ltd , focusing on the development of high-integrity carbon origination projects within the agriculture and palm oil ecosystem with proven records.

Our strategic team led by Vinod Vesava and Rafe Tan, combining deep expertise in carbon markets, ESG implementation, and sustainable project development.

Together with plantation owners, investors, and sustainability stakeholders, we aim to unlock scalable carbon credit opportunities that deliver both environmental integrity and long-term economic value.

We are also honoured to participate in industry platforms organised by the Federal Land Development Authority (Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA)), where collaboration continues to accelerate sustainable transformation across the palm oil sector.

As global demand for verified carbon credits grows, the palm oil industry is uniquely positioned to play a leading role in advancing Southeast Asia’s climate solutions.

Driving Sustainable Growth Through Carbon Initiatives in the Palm Oil Industry

We are honoured to participate in the Carbon Palm Oil programme organised by Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA), a significant platform that brings together industry leaders, sustainability experts, and stakeholders to explore the future of carbon management within the palm oil sector.

As global markets increasingly demand low-carbon and sustainable products, the palm oil industry has a unique opportunity to lead the transition towards a greener economy. Through carbon accounting, carbon credit development, emissions reduction strategies, and ESG integration, the industry can unlock new value while strengthening its environmental stewardship.

The event highlights the importance of measuring, managing, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the palm oil value chain. It also provides valuable insights into emerging carbon market opportunities, sustainability regulations, and innovative solutions that support Malaysia's net-zero aspirations.

We commend FELDA for its leadership in advancing sustainable palm oil practices and fostering industry collaboration. By working together, stakeholders can accelerate the development of high-quality carbon projects, enhance supply chain transparency, and create long-term economic and environmental benefits for future generations.

Sustainability is no longer an option—it is a business imperative. The journey towards a low-carbon palm oil industry begins with collective action, innovation, and commitment.
