A side history note : Did you know that Sir Stamford Raffles was offered Belitung as a "peace offering" from the Dutch in exchange for the British to "return" Jogjakarta? But the British selected Singapore instead...and the rest is history.

There is big news for Belitung today!

After months of lobbying with Genting Cruise Lines/Dream Cruises and Singapore Tourism Board, we finally received good tidings directly from Genting Dream that Belitung will be a cruise destination in 2020!
