ReActing as a Star is proud to welcome two outstanding guests whose craft, experience, and generosity continue to inspire generations of performers.

✨ Sebastian Cavazza — A towering presence in Southeast European theatre and cinema, Sebastian has performed more than 80 roles on stage and screen and led workshops from Bogotá to Munich. As a professor of film acting at AGRFT, a celebrated jury member, and a multi-lingual performer, he brings deep artistic range and rigor to everything he touches. At this year’s programme, Sebastian will lead a dedicated workshop in screen acting, sharing his rare blend of insight, precision, and passion with the next wave of talent.

✨ Judita Franković Brdar — A ReActing alumna and beloved screen presence, Judita’s career spans film, TV, and theatre, with standout performances in Mother of Asphalt, Sonja and the Bull, Daddy, and Rest in Peace. With a background in literature and language, and training across Europe and the US—from the William Esper Studio to Pina Bausch-inspired movement labs—Judita exemplifies the kind of restless, embodied artistry we champion. We’re thrilled to have her return to the programme not just as a guest, but as an inspiration.

🌍✨ Going global starts here. Meet the incredible talent agents joining us at ReActing as a Star 2025 — helping regional actors unlock international careers.

✨ Lara Abul Failat – Based in Los Angeles, Lara bridges the gap between EMEA talent and Hollywood. With a background in dance, casting, and PR, her agency represents actors across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

✨ Anila Gajević – Founder of ZONA, the first talent agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anila represents some of the Balkans’ most prominent actors across major international productions, from Game of Thrones and Jack Ryan to Snowpiercer and Cold War.

✨ Anastasija Nešković & Jelena Bilić – Representatives of Slavic Artists Management, a dynamic agency dedicated to representing actors from Southeast Europe with a focus on tailored international career development. Their roster spans film, TV, and theatre across Europe and beyond.

✨ Tijana Popović – Founder of Fidelis Actors, a boutique agency managing selected Balkan actors with an emphasis on integrity, strategy, and cross-cultural visibility. With experience in PR, international relations, and the performing arts, Tijana brings a global perspective to local talent.

🎭 All four will participate in a special panel on international possibilities for regional actors, exploring new routes, resources, and realities in global casting.

ReActing as a Star isn’t just about discovering talent—it’s about building bridges between actors and the casting directors shaping international cinema today. We’re beyond honoured to welcome five trailblazing professionals whose work spans continents, genres, and generations of storytelling:

✨ Anders Nygaard – From Normal People and The Danish Girl to The Bridge, Foundation, and Shadow and Bone, Anders is a master of assembling unforgettable casts for both intimate dramas and epic genre series.

✨ Cassandra Han – President of CSA’s Global Chapter, Cassandra’s casting credits range from Ford v Ferrari and A Hidden Life to Samia, The German, and Black Gold. With a sharp eye for global talent, she bridges the European arthouse and international prestige TV.

✨ Laura Muccino – A defining voice in Italian casting, Laura’s résumé includes My Brilliant Friend, Gomorrah, ZeroZeroZero, and collaborations with Ken Loach, Asghar Farhadi, and Gabriele Muccino. She also teaches at Rome’s Gianmaria Volonté Film School.

✨ Sien Josephine Teijssen – Founder of SIEN JOSEPHINE CASTING, she’s known for fresh, authentic choices in films like Julie Keeps Quiet and Young Hearts. A CSA board member, she champions both emerging talent and systemic change.

✨ Timka Grin – A casting legend of Southeast European cinema, Timka has worked with the Dardenne brothers, Godard, and Tanović. A member of AMPAS and EFA, and former ICDA president, she’s helped shape the region’s most acclaimed films.

🎭 Our final group brings us across languages, genres, and borders—three actors whose careers reflect not only talent, but unstoppable momentum.

✨ Helena Vuković (BA) – A standout presence in Bosnian theatre and film, Helena has worked with acclaimed directors including Oscar-winner Danis Tanović. A two-time graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, she also teaches acting there, and continues to deepen her craft through international training in physical theatre, clowning, and movement.

✨ Vule Marković (ME) – A dynamic Montenegrin actor known for his range and physicality, Vule has starred in regional hits like Debt to the Sea, Legacy, and The Hollow. Trained in both theatre and tourism, and fluent in four languages, he brings versatility to every role — from period epics to contemporary dramas.

✨ Vesna Kuzmić (SI) – A multilingual talent working across Europe, Vesna moves easily between screen and stage, from Slovenian TV hits to leading roles in Madrid-based theatre. Trained in Ljubljana and Moscow, she’s performed in nine languages — and won Best Actress at Poland’s Valise Festival for The Little Match Girl.

✨ Jurij Drevenšek (SI) – One of Slovenia’s most recognisable actors, Jurij moves between theatre, film, and TV with effortless charisma. He’s earned two Vesna Awards, led acclaimed films like Bread and Circuses, and appeared in international titles like Guardians of the Formula, Hamilton, and Strike Back. A Berlinale Talents alum and founding president of the Slovenian Screen Actors Guild, Jurij is a true advocate for the craft.

✨ Ana Stojanovska (MK) – A standout voice in North Macedonian cinema and theatre, Ana has brought nuance and strength to lead roles in Kaymak, Island, The Script, and the acclaimed series Radius. A long-time ensemble member of the Macedonian National Theatre, she continues to impress with her intelligence, range, and emotional power.

✨ Joakim Tasić (RS) – One of Serbia’s most exciting young actors, Joakim balances major theatre roles with a growing list of screen credits. A key member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, he’s starred in True Haunting, King Alexander, and Santa Maria della Salute, and has picked up top national awards along the way. Also a DJ and live act performer, Joakim brings intensity, precision, and edge to everything he does.

From cult classics and festival hits to streaming thrillers and multilingual performances—today’s participants bring fierce experience and range.

✨ Admir Šehović (BA) – Admir’s film debut came at age 10 in Pretty Village, Pretty Flame, and he’s been a familiar face on regional screens ever since. With lead roles in films like Full Moon, So She Doesn’t Live, and Netflix’s iHostage, and a Heart of Sarajevo nomination for The Hollow, he remains one of the region’s most enduring talents.

✨ Marina Redžepović (HR) – A quiet powerhouse of Croatian cinema, Marina has built a career defined by range, subtlety, and persistence. With over thirty screen credits to her name—including award-winning performances in The Staffroom and standout roles in The Paper and Kumovi—she continues to carve out space as one of the most compelling screen actors of her generation.

✨ Alen Kermac (SI) – A multilingual performer with roots in both Slovenia and Italy, Alen has built a rich international career across film and television. Trained in the Strasberg Method and fluent in four languages, he’s appeared in Inventura, La rosa dell’Istria, and a range of Slovenian and Italian series, always bringing authenticity and charisma to his roles.

From Venice to Belgrade, from theatre stages to international film sets — these three actors bring serious range and depth to the screen.

✨ Lidija Kordić (ME) – A Montenegrin actress with a growing international presence, Lidija starred in Diva Futura, which premiered at Venice in 2024, and was named a European Shooting Star at Berlinale the same year.

✨ Janko Popović Volarić (HR) – A leading figure in Croatian cinema, Janko has starred in over 40 films and series and won awards from P**a to Alexandria. You might know him from Comic Sans or This Is Not a Love Song—which he also co-wrote.

✨ Milica Janevski (RS) – Acclaimed for her work across film, television, and theatre, Milica has starred in Father, The Load, and The Reaping, moving effortlessly between genres and mediums while leaving a mark on every production she joins.
