Družinska tradicija vinogradništva kmetije Bordon sega v leto 1985. Ivan Bordon je kot prvi med zasebnimi vinarji Slovenske Istre vpeljal lastno blagovno znamko. Danes na posestvu Bordon nadaljujemo z inovativnostjo in predanim delom, stremimo k popolnosti pridelave vrhunskih vin, ki vedno znova dosegajo zavidljiva priznanja in nagrade, tako doma kot v tujini. Poleg vrhunskih vin lahko v prijetnem ambientu v objemu reke Rižane okušate še domače istrske dobrote in oljčno olje. Med sortami, ki jih pridelujemo, prevladuje avtohtona sorta Slovenske Istre - refošk. Poleg refoška pridelujemo še cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot in syrah, ki predstavljajo osnovo za cuveé Bon d'Or in E.vin rosé ter evino penino. Med belimi sortami pridelujemo malvazijo in rumeni muškat ter belo zvrst AnaBela. Vrhunska posebnost naše kleti pa je slamno vino pridelano iz rdečih sort grozdja. Ker stremimo k novostim in vedno raziskujemo kaj zmore naše grozdje imamo od leta 2011 tudi svojo penino. The family tradition of wine growing in the Bordon estate dates back to 1985. Ivan Bordon, as the first among private wine producers of Slovenian Istria, introduced his own brand of wines. Today, on the Bordon estate, we are continuing innovation in our dedicated work, we strive for the perfection and production of top quality wines, which are constantly achieving enviable prizes both at home and abroad. In addition to top quality wines, you can also taste local Istrian delicacies and olive oil in a pleasant ambience in the embrace of the Rizana River. It is also possible to set up / sleep at the estate. Among the varieties we cultivate, the autochthonous variety of Slovenian Istria is dominated by refošk. In addition to refošk, we also produce cabernet suvignon, cabernet franc, merlot and syrah, which represent the base for Bon d'Or, evina penina brut and E.vin rosé. Among white varieties we produce Malvazija and yellow Muscat. The ultimate specialty of our cellar is straw wine and from 2011 we proudly make sparkling wine.

Nekaj utrinkov letosnje trgatve, katera pa je se v teku 👌

Letošnja sezona nas je postavila pred kar nekaj izzivov. 🍇☀️ Dolgo sušno obdobje je trto precej obremenilo, nato pa je prišel težko pričakovani dež. Jagode so se lepo hidrirale in dobile nov zagon za nadaljevanje zorenja.

Bele sorte smo že uspešno pospravili, zdaj pa potrpežljivo spremljamo dolocene rdeče, ki še zorijo in pridobivajo svojo značilno aromatiko ter zrelost. 🍷
Narava ima svoj ritem – mi pa ji pozorno sledimo. 🌿

This year’s season has presented us with quite a few challenges. 🍇☀️ A long period of drought put considerable stress on the vines, but then the much-anticipated rain finally arrived. The grapes hydrated nicely and gained new momentum as they continued to ripen.

We have already successfully harvested the white varieties, while we are now patiently monitoring some of red ones, which are still ripening and developing their characteristic aromas and maturity. 🍷

Nature has its own rhythm – and we follow it closely. 🌿

Tekmovanje Sommelier Selection 2025 je letos potekalo že v dvaindvajseti izvedb in je bilo izvedeno v torek in sredo, 18. in 19. marca 2025.
Spajanje vin in jedi je ocenjevalo rekordnih šest sommelierskih komisij, v katerih je delovalo 80 clanov. 88 vinarjev iz štirih držav – Slovenije, Hrvaške, Italije in Avstrije, ki so prijavili več kot 400 različnih vin se je potegovalo za izbor.

Nasa vina so se uvrstila v selekcijo v kar stirih kategorijah!
