The new Slovenian minimum wage for 2021 is EUR 1,024.24 gross, following European Union’s directions on the minimum wage, stating that the minimum wage should ensure a decent living environment and by this prevent in-work poverty in Slovenia.🇸🇮

❗️NEW MEASURES❗️
Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša presented yesterday new measures to limit the spread of the new coronavirus in Slovenia. ☝️Movements among the most vulnerable regions will be limited (picture below). 🤚The use of protective masks will also be mandatory outdoors.😷For red regions, where the number of newly infected in the last 14 days exceeds 140 per 100,000 inhabitants, the following measures will apply from Friday:⛔️

⭕️temporary ban on all gatherings and events over 10 persons,
⭕️restriction of certain service activities and certain sports activities,
⭕️restriction of movement between regions,
⭕️mandatory wearing of masks everywhere, including outdoors, except with prescribed exceptions,
⭕️from Monday, classes for students from 5th grade onwards and high school students will be held at a distance,
The validity of tourist vouchers will be extended next year.

‼️CHANGES REGARDING CROSSING BOARDERS‼️
Persons who have permanent or temporary residence in a country on the "green list" and come from these countries may enter Slovenia without restrictions (wothout a negative covid19 test) and without quarantine.

In addition to the existing ones, the following will be included in the green list (as of today, 29 September 2020):
- Australia
- Cyprus
- Finland
- South Korea
- Latvia
- Liechtenstein
- Lithuania
- New Zealand
- Poland
- Serbia
- Uruguay

📊Slovenian Chamber of Commerce: June Research Results

The Slovenian Chamber of Commerce's June economic survey (May 20 – June 15) mainly examined the connection between the epidemic and the Slovenian economy. The results showed:
📈on average, 33% of employees are on hold
📈financing employees to wait for work the most used measure of anti-covid legislation
📈 led to the introduction of new technologies
📈companies will record an average of 17% lower revenues in 2020 than in 2019
📈exports are expected to fall by an average of 14% in 2020 compared to 2019
📈companies expect revenue growth in 2021.

"After Slovenia fought and won the war for its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991, the red star in the middle of the flag was officially removed from the Slovenian flag. The new coat of arms, which is still placed on the Slovenian flag we use today was designed by Marko Pogačnik. The Slovenian flag was officially adopted on 27 June 1991, following a long and controversial dispute about the coat of arms of the new Republic of Slovenia and its emergence from under Yugoslavia."
