[𝐀𝐇𝐊 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 x Fraport Slovenija]

✈️ We had the pleasure of welcoming nearly 40 members and friends of our AHK for a visit to Fraport Slovenija and learning more about the strategic role of Ljubljana Airport as a key driver of connectivity, tourism, trade, and investment in Slovenia and the wider region.

🌍 The airport has seen strong recent growth and continues to expand its international reach, including direct connections to the United States. The business community also welcomes ongoing efforts to further strengthen connectivity and hopes to see a direct Berlin route in the near future.

🏆 Ljubljana Airport's recent shortlisting for a prestigious international passenger award highlights its commitment to quality, efficiency, and an outstanding passenger experience.

📦 Beyond passenger travel, the airport is an important cargo gateway, supporting Slovenian exporters and international supply chains with reliable air freight connections.

🇸🇮🤝🇩🇪 The launch of the first 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐇𝐊 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞, hosted at the 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫, brought together a select group of leading business representatives for an open and constructive exchange with Anže Logar.

Designed as an exclusive forum for strategic discussion, the event created an opportunity for CEOs and senior business leaders to engage directly with a key political stakeholder on the issues shaping Slovenia’s economic future. The conversation focused on competitiveness, investment attractiveness, talent availability, regulatory predictability, and the urgency of reforms needed to ensure sustainable growth.

👋 We are excited to introduce our new legal trainee, Anna Sophie Krawietz, who has joined the team at the German-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce as part of her administrative training during her legal clerkship.

Anna Sophie is currently completing her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Duisburg. She studied Law at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf with a focus on Corporate Law. ⚖

Before starting her clerkship, she worked as a research associate in the Corporate/M&A practice of an international law firm and also taught at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Alongside her practical work, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Association Law.

For her administrative training, she deliberately chose the German-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce because of its strong international focus. She is particularly interested in international business law and the legal aspects of cross-border economic cooperation between Germany and Slovenia.

Slovenia was an easy choice for her – not only because of its dynamic economy and central position in Europe, but also because nature plays an important role in her life. Hiking and trail running are among her greatest passions, and she enjoys spending her free time exploring Slovenia's mountains and landscapes.
