The abstract submission portal will close on 9 June 2025 at 11:59 PM EST (New York time zone) and we will notify applicants of our decision shortly thereafter. We welcome submissions on any topic related to human osteology, zooarchaeology, mortuary archaeology, palaeoethnobotany, and archaeothanatology in and around the Roman world. Well, we are not done YET for this week! Tomorrow we have another interesting lecture by prof. dr. Christophe Snoeck. Learn more about strontium isotopes, with the most interesting cases from UK to Slovenia, from Stonehenge to Novo Mesto.

Yesterday evening we hard an amazing lectures by Prof. dr. Philipp W. Stockhammer (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Max Planck Harvard Research Center for the Archaeoscience of the Ancient Mediterranean). We heard about the transition from Stone age to Bronze age in Southern Germany based on an AWESOME site in L**h River Valley.
PS. Even video gaming was included! Make sure you download BRONZEON game now and I dare you to survive as a Bronze Age individual. (hint: don't chase boars! 😉 )
