On this picture you can see a "robot" that is fitted on some "manual gearboxes" of car models - in this case Renault brand. System is great solution for all of those people who have disabilities and they cant easy press clutch pedal OR they simply have motorical problems to drive regular car with manual gearbox. Well we have it at home for fun because we want to be different. :-)
Anyway these roborts with proper maintenance are bulletproof... Too many times (last year -2025- we saved 6 of them) became problem to mecanics because of unsufficient knowledge. As simple they can be they still require some knowledge. Sistem includes Hi pressure pump, pressure accumulator, few sensors and valves so nothing special but thogether they can lead to the point that authorised dealer raise their hands and say it cant be fixed and repair costs will be more than it is car value.
Well until those mecanics dont mess up to many thing the repair is very simple and cheap at the same time. Only "problem" that occure is waiting time for spare parts to came from France where ALL parts are available.
In case you want to own a car with this type of gearbox you are nothing to be afraid of. We can help you with maintenace and repars. Until this day ALL of these robots were fixed on our jard.
