Many organizations have successfully launched AI pilots. Far fewer have managed to move those solutions into production.

What happens between a promising proof of concept and a reliable production system?

At AiSEK 2026, Tadej Magajna from Sandoz / Lek will share practical lessons learned from deploying AI in real business environments and explain why the biggest challenges often emerge only after the pilot phase.

The session will explore:
– data quality and data drift,
– MLOps, monitoring, and integrations,
– latency and production edge cases,
– and the impact of compliance requirements, regulations, and internal policies on AI adoption.

Special focus will be placed on the gap between controlled pilot environments and the realities of production systems.

As AI moves from experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption, a new leadership role is emerging: the Chief AI Officer (CAIO). But what does a Chief AI Officer actually do?

At AiSEK 2026, Jeremy Rule will share practical insights from more than 20 years of experience at Microsoft, AWS, GitHub, and AI-focused startups, explaining how AI leaders bridge the gap between business strategy, governance, technology, and organizational change.

The session will explore:
– why organizations are creating the Chief AI Officer role,
– how AI leaders drive adoption and business value,
– how AI governance, trust, and accountability are established in practice,
– and what skills are required to lead AI initiatives at scale.

Whether you are an executive, technology leader, cybersecurity professional, or involved in AI transformation, this session will provide a practical perspective on leading AI across the enterprise.

AI agents are rapidly evolving from passive assistants into autonomous systems capable of making decisions, using tools, and executing actions across enterprise environments.

But who monitors the agents themselves?

At AiSEK 2026, Alessandro Pignati from NeuralTrust will present the concept of Guardian Agents — supervisory AI entities designed to monitor, validate, and control the behavior of other autonomous AI systems in real time.

The session will explore:
– why traditional static guardrails are no longer sufficient,
– how Guardian Agents can validate intent and prevent risky actions,
– and how organizations can improve control, traceability, and anomaly detection in non-deterministic AI environments.

Special focus will be placed on practical architectural approaches for securing agentic AI systems interacting with enterprise tools and infrastructure.

Generative AI tools are rapidly changing how cybersecurity is taught and learned.

When AI can instantly generate scripts, technical reports, and vulnerability analyses, how do we ensure that students still develop real skills and sound judgment?

At AiSEK 2026, Riccardo Cervelli from ITIS “G. Marconi” – Pontedera will explore the growing tension between AI-assisted learning and over-reliance on AI tools in cybersecurity education.

The session will also address:
– prompt literacy and AI-assisted labs,
– adversarial exercises for evaluating AI-generated outputs,
– hallucinated results and the illusion of competence,
– and the long-term impact of AI on cybersecurity training and professional practice.

Special focus will be placed on the cognitive and methodological challenges of teaching cybersecurity in the age of AI.

AI security agents rely on contextual signals to decide what they can and cannot test.

But what happens when those signals can be manipulated?

At AiSEK 2026, Eduard Agavriloae from OFFENSAI will demonstrate how current AI guardrails can be bypassed through scope manipulation techniques – from false authorization responses to reverse proxy redirection that makes production systems appear as localhost environments.

The session will also explore why AI systems that rely on tool outputs without independent verification remain vulnerable, and what organizations building agentic AI systems should consider when interacting with real-world infrastructure.

As organizations begin deploying autonomous AI agents in collaborative environments, a new security challenge is emerging: what happens when one of the agents silently pursues hidden malicious objectives?

At AiSEK 2026, Mohammad Zeeshan from the HUN-REN SZTAKI (Institute for Computer Science and Control), will present empirical findings from large-scale adversarial simulations exploring how difficult it is to detect malicious AI agents operating inside multi-agent systems.

The session will examine why many current AI safety monitoring approaches remain surprisingly ineffective, how attackers can intentionally hide malicious reasoning, and why some forms of AI-driven data exfiltration may remain practically invisible to existing detection mechanisms.

Special focus will be placed on practical lessons for organizations deploying AI agents in collaborative or autonomous operational environments.

25/05/2026

• kako ravnati ob zlorabi dostopnih zahtevkov,
• kakšne so meje neposrednega trženja in

Human factors such as fatigue, stress, and cognitive overload remain one of the most important vulnerabilities in modern cybersecurity.

Can AI-driven security systems learn to recognize when users are cognitively overloaded before errors and security incidents happen?

At AiSEK 2026, Zoja Anžur from the Jožef Stefan Institute will present a machine learning framework for predicting cognitive states such as fatigue, engagement, and stress using non-intrusive data sources, including computer interaction patterns and passive sensing.

The session will also explore how human-state awareness could become part of next-generation AI-driven security systems, while addressing important questions around privacy, scalability, personalization, and the practical limitations of current machine learning approaches.
