REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS – DARE2ASPIRE MENTORED-TO-BE-A MENTOR PROGRAM

Innovation SL invites qualified and registered vendors to submit quotations for the provision of venue, catering and photography services in support of the upcoming capacity building workshop under the Dare2Aspire Mentored-to-Be-A Mentor program.

We are seeking quotation for 70 participants from vendors for the Dare2aspire M2M project workshop 04 in Freetown.

📌 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All vendors are required to submit their quotations and relevant supporting documents via email: [email protected]

Note: If you can provide venue and catering services, a combined quotation is required.

Innovation SL is recruiting an experienced consultant to lead technical integration for our 18-month Freetown Regional Food Resilience Corridor Pilot, testing how cassava processing waste, productive energy, low-emission transport and enterprise development can strengthen Freetown's regional food system.
🔧 What's involved:
Three modular Black Soldier Fly (BSF) units, one biogas system, and one electric keke across three processor sites. The Lead will oversee technical assessment, supplier coordination, commissioning, operator training, and performance evaluation across the full 18-month pilot.
✅ Whom we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in agricultural, mechanical, environmental, chemical, energy or process engineering (or related field)
7+ years' technical implementation experience - commissioning or operating decentralised energy, waste, agro-processing or circular-economy systems
Working knowledge of organic-waste conversion, biogas, BSF production, productive energy and small EVs
Must currently reside in Sierra Leone and be available for regular site travel
📋 Contract: Part-time consultancy, phased over 18 months
📍 Location: Freetown-based, with travel to processor sites

Meet Sophie Johnson — Sierra Leonean by heritage, raised in the UK, and a renewable energy pioneer who brought Sierra Leone's first on-grid solar farm to life.

But ask Sophie about one of her proudest achievements lately, and she won't talk about solar panels. She'll tell you about the day she brought her shy, soft-spoken mentee to a Chamber of Commerce networking event. She quietly asked a few contacts to draw her into conversation and watched her hold her own in a room full of business leaders.
"She has a lot of common sense. She was able to hold conversations," Sophie says. "That made me feel quite proud of her."

For Sophie, mentoring under Dare2Aspire isn't a side project, it's personal. One of 11 children raised by women who always gave back, she says building confidence in young women "is heartfelt and humbling." Her advice to any woman considering mentorship: make the time, listen first, and be tenacious but graceful with it.

Meet Aminata — an entrepreneur turning passion into impact.

In 2017, she launched Agro Fish Farm, combining fish farming with sustainable crop production to promote healthier lives and a better future.

Inspired and mentored by Francis Stevens George, Aminata gained the confidence to pursue her vision.

Through the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP), she gained valuable skills and went on to win the competition in Sierra Leone.

Today, with support from the Orange Digital Center, Aminata continues to grow her business and create impact.
