As Sierra Leone tries to join the rest of the digital world, Jamboree Consult- a subsidiary of SaloneJamboree- is launching a promotional campaign for the small West African country to have a significant presence on the World Wide Web.
Jamboree Consult is launching the Website Based on Budget (WBB) campaign and Online streaming for
radio stations. With the WBB, we are giving individuals, small businesses, NGOs, CBOs and media houses
(radio stations and newspapers) the opportunity to own their own domain names, customize emails and
websites based on their budgets. The package includes a payment plan that will be negotiated to suit the affordability of potential clients.
The importance of Online presence cannot be over-emphasized. In this age, doing a business without
online presence is like operating without an address. With Online presence, businesses and
professionals are working 24-7 to the convenience of their clients and the public in general.
Radio stations in Sierra Leone, for example, will be offered FREE of CHARGE one-week online streaming
of their programmes.
Jamboree Consult will provide the facility, including the setting up of the system in
the respective stations. Potential radio stations are only required to provide reliable high speed internet
to ensure the systems works efficiently. After the one-week test period, the stations can decide whether they will continue with the service.
